Manierie makes a lot of changes earlier in the season to find the combinations of batting order, fielders and pitchers to help the team down the road. We all get mad when a pitcher is hot and he gets pulled. The next 5 bullpen guys cost us an easy win. That experience for those bullpen pitchers is priceless and pays dividends later in the season. People want him fired when he does this, but then don't want him fired when those same players perform later in the season.

The Rant hates ANY LSU coach that doesn't win every game 222-0 - be it football, basketball, baseball, or lawn darts.
It must be total domination or nothing. A perfect game, no mistakes or nothing.

Anyone with baseball knowledge would not allow a guy who is prone to walk people remain in a game after walking the 8 & 9 hitters in a game trying to win the sec title. He can get work in the tournament.

People bitched about Bergman back in the day. He'd use the midweek games and early season to get kids playing time finding the right combo. winning is more important as teams get into 2nd half of season typically.

CPM is running a great program. Even if he took over a great one.
I don't always agree with his moves but I do appreciate what he assembles and the product he puts out.
Our teams are solid and among the best fielding and starting rotations as well some serious talent.
I'm glad to have him, even if I don't always agree.

Take 2010, 2011 from Ray Tanner and what has he done? Take away 2014, 2015 from Vandy and what have they done? Take away Saban's 2003 and what did he do at LSU.
