Its not fair? The kid knew the rules, broke the rules repeatedly, and now has to pay for his decisions and your saying its not fair? Wow. Embarrassing that someone would think that.

i find it hard to believe he got kicked off for just smoking weed. we will probably never completely know for sure but he obviously broke some pretty big rule(s) to have violated team rules, LSU rules and NCAA rules. the man got famous almost overnight; not just at LSU or the SEC but across the nation. he just couldn't handle it. i'm not judging him; i doubt i could have either.

" ... While I agree with you sentiments about weed and all, fair does not come into play here. I work at a job that does not allow me to hit a bong everynight. I would love too but I would be fired. So it's a simple decision. Smoke weed and remain broke, don't smoke and take a sweet vacation every year.... "

TM7 got not 1, not 2, but 3 chances to clean his life up, and he failed to do so. Them's the rules.

Let's just hope he can get straight because he is way too talanted to waste his life away as a junkie.

The word is CHARACTER
The rules are the rules.
He knew them, He broke them.

Whether they should/should not be there is irrelevant...they are.

TM was always a instinctual player and probably a person too,it showed in the field.Thats what made him special.
Maybe thats what made him regard the rules with contempt.
Sometimes these Rules dont make any sense.I hope this kid picks up the pieces and moves on and goes to have a good career in whatever he does.He
will always be a tiger in my eyes

Agree, its a safe drug, one that cause very little harm. I have no idea why it is illegal. But there are idiots on here who don't know any better.

When you fail 4 drug tests, you lose privileges. If I failed one drug test at my job, I'd be fired.

the rules for the football team and the university are the rules. just the way it is. what I agree or disagree with does not matter

Tell that to Michael Phelps
Or quite a few of the top 100 US Billionaires, or the last three presidents.

You really have no idea.

I agree with the SHOULD, but I live in the ARE.
It is what it is, nor that it should, but the rest does not matter

I damn near hate Obama.. (hate is strong. dislike for sure) I cannot stand most fricking potheads in person.. (most i know are thugs and break all sorts of laws including thieves) I've never smoked or done any drugs.. or even drank in my entire life.. but Marijuana should be legal.

But this is for another board and time IMO. He knew the rules before him and he broke them. It is ashame. I wish Marijuana was legal and most likely the view on it wouldn't be so negative and these rules would cease.. but until then.. he knew better and this blows.

Weedheads are so predictable.

It doesn't matter even slightly whether the rule is fair. Get the rule changed *first*, then you can enjoy toking all you want. Until then, you will get in trouble doing so. Since MJ isn't addictive at all I'm sure that won't be so hard.

You are right, its not at all fair. It is not fair that Tyrann was so selfish that he couldnt back off the weed. Weed for crying out loud, He has let his family, the team, the school, but most of all he has let himself down. Hes a total dick. While I wish him the best he is no longer a tiger and is a non person from this point forward

He knew the rules, and he broke them- repeatedly. I'm not sure how one can say he wasn't treated fairly.

@Napoleon 100% agree, bro. Don't criticize...LEGALIZE!

Check this picture out. LOL funny and yet to the point.

Michael Phelps...known stoner...most decorated Olympian of all time. Usain Bolt...guilty of pot smoking by nationality ;-)...fasted man in the history of recorded history. Honey Badger...liked his weed...possibly the best college player in the country.

Personally, I don't think is was just pot that made Les discard an athlete THIS special. I think his toking was world famous, Miles has other behavioral issues with him, serious ones, and had him pee in the cup to put lipstick on the pig. JMHO
