One board wasn’t enough for you to post your drivel on? You don’t know a fraction of what you think you know.

BK neglected the trenches his entire time here.

I wasn't excited about the Kelly hire but I got on board due to his history of solid O-line play and innovative blocking schemes with multiple TEs hustling downfield to spring long runs.. That worked out real fricking well. Without that he brings nothing to the table.

he was known for recruiting his type.... big frames with athletic builds from HS, then keeping them in the program for 4-5 years and starting them then.

His lines were older, mature, and already gel'd by practicing together for years in advance.

NIL killed that successful coaching philosophy

You think Boosters are gonna give Kelly 20 mil next season?

They aren’t going to do it again because it’s currently a wasted investment, not because they can’t afford to do it. If we were winning with this roster then they would certainly keep donating. Right now they are probably thinking that no matter what they spend it will be wasted with the current coaches.

LSU spent a lot of money on Brown & Anderson. Neither are anything special. 40 catches (30 by Brown) 3 TDs total all year

Same for Pyburn & Payton. 2.5 sacks. Those 4 are close to $2 mil in NIL for average at best results.

My point is, LSU can sustain long term success, with a good coach.

Kelly is reactionary and not proactive in his organization and coaching decisions.

The moment Nuss had sustained injuries impeding his mobility and downfield throwing abilities, he should have made changes to accommodate the backup.

Let Nuss fully heal and be ready to come in when another injury happens to the new starter.

It’s forward thinking as opposed to being stubborn and egotistical.

The talent is on the team but the coach simply does not correctly move his chess pieces.

College athletics are what’s broken.

The portal an NIL have killed whatever was good about collegiate sports.
