Endowment has nothing to do with anything. If that mattered, Harvard would win everything.

Add Saban that would be the biggest shock factor of them all especially for the Gumps. Lmao

It’s the internet, anyone can claim “sources” and insider status. I can assure you, the group overseeing the search aren’t texting people what is going on.

Then Alex Golesh should be a slam dunk.

He got back with his ex-wife who’s a UF Alum and who’s Daddy, John Reaves, is a former Alum/QB/Coach who coached under Spurrier in the early 90’s when they beat LSU 11 years straight.

This guy gets all his shite from insiders on the on3 website and try’s to act like he has insiders and sources. Puts some bullshite together.

I agree that they were pursuing coaches already after the first two losses.

It better not be Franklin. That is making the same mistake that was made with BK. Please tell me LSU is smarter than that.

Golding and he’s from Louisiana anyway so that only helps Lane in recruiting here with Golding’s connections. I’m not a huge Golding fan but he’s doing pretty well with Ole Miss’ defense. Sabsn taught him well it seems.

I’d add Harbaugh to the “I’m shocked” list

Subtafuge ,everybody was saying Riley and LSU shocks and hires BK.Philly has had a lot of good info but for a connected person to give him a name this early in the process to me is suspicious.

I learned from the last 2 coaching searches to not believe a single thing I read here. No one knows anything. Brian Kelly wasn't mentioned a single time on here by anyone to claimed to have intel or any media source.

Texting with someone tied in and I was just going down a lot of these hot boards with him and he said “no chance”.
I was literally just texting Jimmy (his close friends call him Jimmy, not Jon) and he was already asking about where he should buy in BR and what are the good restaurants. So take that for what it’s worth.

I’ve been fooled too many times by you so called insiders. I’m not believing shite until it’s all final.

Lane will drain LSU dry and win nothing along the way.
Alex Goresh will take LSU to new heights and not drain LSU In the process.
IMO, this is a no brainer. Golesh brings everything to LSU that Lane does with much higher upside. Lane has had ample opportunities and has won absolutely nothing,

I wouldn't be surprised if Golding doesn't reach out to see if he can get a sit down with LSU for his first head coaching spot. Not saying LSU would even consider it, but considering he is from Louisiana, it wouldn't hurt for him to express interest.
