Hope he got to keep the ball at the end. Kind of cool to have your last play be a game winner. Kid came back, played with heart, and will forever be a champion!
He brought the ball to the post-game press conference!!

Seriously dude? Are you really comparing the college football to actual war? Like there isn’t a huge difference and that maybe in THAT situation a person may act differently than they did when choosing to play an irrelevant sport? Get off your high horse.

It's a pretty common saying now. He wasn't actually comparing college football to actual war.

Jacoby Stevens is such a high character, deserving guy and a great representatve of LSU, I wish him all the best life has to offer and that he'll have a very lengthy and successful NFL career.

I guess the 4 downvotes for this thread were Marshall, Chase, Shelvin, and Gilbert.....

For as much I complain about his play.
I'm sure all the players fully appreciate the insightful and expert comments from couch sitters such as yourself about how well or not they play. With your disguised name, you have the liberty to criticize any player you want to. And why? Because football is so damned important to you that you must complain about the players.

Yep. Makes you wonder why he was allowed to be crapped on all year.

Uhh. Enough has come out to warrant not including Gilbert in the "quitter" talk. Hope he's doing well and comes back to help us win the SEC next year.
