I'm more pissed about the failure to manage the clock and score a TD on our final drive than I am about Bama's final drive. I'm not sure if any kind of study has been done, but I it seems almost as though a driving team in a two-minute drill has a slight advantage over a defense if they only need a FG. Think about it. Most D's are going to play soft to avoid giving up the big play, which allows a disciplined offense with a good plan to nickel and dime the length of the field in a fraction of the time normally necessary--especially with CFB's first down rules.

What I'm saying is, set the records aside for a second.
IN 11 Bama lost at home in OT but the eyeball test says they should have won. They did win a rematch.

I thought they played pretty even... Bama had more yards and when it mattered most they pulled it out.... BTW This 2014 LSU team is nowhere near as good as the 2011 Bama team.....
