I want LSU Football to have the leadership we once had, so we CAN HAVE BOTH SPORTS!!

Really optimistic that he can finish Javan White.
If he can pull that kid he'll have the most complete roster any LSU coach has ever put together. They'll have every role covered with a quality player, plus a coach who can get what he needs out of his people.
That hasn't really ever been done here. They've managed to make do with some of that, but this will be the first time with the entire package. They might end up surprising THE HELL out of people this winter.

Some people bring content to TD and others bring crap to TD. You sir continue being the ladder as it pertains to LSU basketball.
It's okay to like both Wade and Jones. Jones is better off where he is and LSU is better off with Wade at the helm. Liking Jones does not mean you have to dislike Wade.

I've not heard Coach Wade issue any "big talk" as the poster has stated on multiple occasions. When asked to provide evidence, he disappears. Im left to conclude he's just really insecure about his own manhood when compared to Will Wade.

The big talk is right here in this thread - "Sweet 16 in the bag for sure." Wade and his fans are full of big talk, but I prefer to wait to see whether he can generate some results (and for the record, I think he will).
ETA: Everything points to a great season next year. But, at this point, LSU's success is 100% speculative. Coach Jones, who you hold in contempt, had a much better year last year than Wade.

Oh, so you're saying the fans are the only ones providing big talk? That's fair. I agree with you there. Coach Will Wade hasn't done any big talking. I've seen and heard nothing but his acknowledgements that we need to improve.
I have no contempt for Jones. He's a good assistant coach. And you're right, his role as an assistant coach with Nevada last year was helpful to their head coach's success, im sure.
