Actually, this could be the final domino we have been waiting for. LSU getting booted could have a ripple effect. Now there's precedent for how to get kicked out of a conference. Could be the beginning of the end of the NCAA. Now a ton of stuff would have to happen for that to even become a possibility, but there have been talks for years of a superconferece abandoning the NCAA. Well, the law of unintended consequences always has a plan.

I don't view this as the University of Alabama vs anything. I think Alabama and LSU respect one another. No one from Alabama has come out and said a thing about this - as opposed to UT, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and UGA.

I’m with you.
I realize this is a message board, but I think much of the shite talk on the SECr is real. They’ve been brainwashed to think Lane and Wade are somehow on a quest to ruin the integrity of college athletics, when it has clearly already been ruined.
We’ve had scandal after scandal in this league, and inmates literally running the show for the sake of some football wins, governors meddling for decades, etc. And this…the “threat” of what someone MIGHT do is leading to this mess?
It’s laughable.
I realize this is a message board, but I think much of the shite talk on the SECr is real. They’ve been brainwashed to think Lane and Wade are somehow on a quest to ruin the integrity of college athletics, when it has clearly already been ruined.

If the Big 10 isn't an option, the Big 12 isn't exactly a week league. Far more stable than the ACC currently. If somehow we could get Arkansas and Texas A&M to join, maybe Miss State, you have the best conference in college baseball.
Even if we went to the Big 12, I don't see hardly any sports suffering.
Let's be honest, is it really going to matter that much if LSU loses women's volleyball (where we don't do anything of significance) or men and women's cross country or men's tennis?

I tend to agree— while Alabama is not an ally they are not necessarily the enemy. Saban still has a lot of pull there and he is a Lane fan.

I wouldn’t be mad at this point either if LSU left. I know one thing whether LSU stays or not, I will not ever pull for any of these hypocritical sons a bitches in this conference again. I hope every team in this conference except LSU loses every OOC regular season game and they all get their asses handed to them in bowl games and playoffs. frick everyone of them sorry backstabbing retards.
