I’m still excited about Brennan. I just wish we weren’t in a position where we have to start him before he’s ready, either physically or mentally.
This is what happens when you don’t recruit depth at QB, and you don’t know how to play the modern game of carousel QBs via transfer.
At last, LSU seems to have taken a step in the right direction in that game. Which, by the way, I can’t stand.

I'm confused. Are you saying that the fans are why we struggle in the QB department? If it's not the coaches and as you said the players haven't failed yet, where would you place the blame for the QB stuggles?

It is clear that the enthusiasm of Myles playing this soon with success were grossly misplaced. LSU cannot recruit QBs. This is very bad.

Some players just take longer to develop than others. IMO, it's way too soon to say that either Brennan or Narcisse are flops as QBs.

I do. And all they read is on their phones. Social media, twitter, snapchat and whereever else ignorance is broadcast, including message boards.
If you don't think that these kids are influenced by this place and others like it when it comes to committing and performing...then you are likely part of the problem, too.
Find me another unofficial FBS board that allows as much no-holds-barred bashing of coaches and players alike.
Posters call them pussified for banning negative assholes.
I used too, as well.
In my old age, I'm not as sure they're wrong anymore.

And Brennan's not green - he's been here last season, plus now a spring. That's usually enough time to show what you got.

I do and including all the friends, they couldn't care less about message boards. They care about their social media, not what a bunch of old guys are saying on TD. I would never contact players or recruits on their social media especially to say something negative to them.

Elite recruits, especially QBs care about getting to the NFL and don't give two shits about what I or anyone else on this board thinks. They have Google and can see a coach's history and how they've done in regards to winning games and putting players in the NFL.

The player bashing usually gets whacked, but criticism is allowed. As far as coaches, it's an unfair request to name another board because there isn't another program worth a shite that has a coach as unqualified as the one LSU has. No other program has the worst coach in the history of Ole Miss football which has been pretty bad. In fact, OM is the only original West team since the SECCG was created to never make it there.

This is stupid. Kid just had his true freshman year and actually played more then he should have. I wish he would have redshirted. He will be fine as he develops and will be our starter as an upperclassman one day.
