As much as it pains me to admit it. I believe we're handling the Tyler Taylor situation correctly in comparison to the Deion Thompson situation at Alabama where he was indicted on felony assault charges and is currently awaiting trial all the while still actively participating in all Alabama football activities. I believe he's still slotted as their starting SS with a pending court date.

Nick Saban's priority is to win football games. He isn't there to make sure everyone is a saint. As long as the reward of having the player on the team is higher than the risk of even a felony indictment hurting the program, the player will still be on the team. It's just how it is.

That’s the difference between Saban/Meyer and everyone else. They will do whatever it takes to win football games

I understand the Nick Saban's POV. But from an Administration standpoint how can you allow this. Where's the precedent? Can all student-athletes get away with this?

I also blame the media for not calling the program out on this.

Saban will do anything to keep kids playing. IT's part of the reason he's been on the run he has.

Sad he feels like he has to do it this way, but, there's nothing holding him back because even negative press on stuff like this for him does NOTHING to tarnish his recruiting, coaching and personnel decisions. It's disgusting.

This kid got arrested for felony assault earlier last year and he didn't miss a single game last season. Now he's going to court to answer for himself in October this year, and I will bet any sort of money he will continue to play with those charges looming over his head.

Just makes you laugh, Hootie and Cam get caught red handed with guns and drugs, and the D.A. in LOUISIANA a month later ends up refusing to prosecute, they missed zero games for that. You cant even make this stuff up. How the hell do they get away with this stuff?

The obsession with Bama and Saban is unreal on this board. An LSU players robs a place, steals guns and it somehow gets turned into a discussion about what Bama is doing.

LSU is handling it the right way, but this isn't the reason Alabama has been kicking our arse. Get over the obsession.

Nobody alluded this situation to Alabama's dominance over us. WE're just pointing out an injustice that not being properly recognized.

Because I see other programs are playing by a different set of rules. Albeit immoral.

People forget we had players running amok under Saban. He just left before social media and smartphones were a thing.

Its very sad. I saw it in the thread about Fulton's case. I was thinking to myself ..."Wtf does Bama have to do with the NCAA ruling"

That is because the Gumps know, just like with the Cam Robinson/Hootie arrest, they have paid off the right people so that nothing will ever come of anything and the kid will be playing.
