To be fair, Finebaum of all people tried to do this about the A/C incident and got destroyed off camera. I feel like Saban has enough power that he could shut the media out completely other than actually televising the games if they piss him off too much. They aren't responsible journalists because they're the same company that stands to profit from the programs all being as good as possible. At least ESPN. Other media outlets should be harder on them but they don't have the influence that ESPN has.

Either needs to be a uniform NCAA/SEC rule with these arrests to decide if you play until the trial. Saban chooses to let the court decide on a players eligibility in all these situations giving him an advantage over LSU. Alabama's safety is playing while LSU is "setting the example" before a trial. Teams in the same league should be regulated by the same rules. The NCAA overregulates what schools can give/do for players, but on this schools do whatever they want, an Apple and oranges scenerio.
