I believe the Loyola wolfpack will dominate LA sports in the near future.

"The tulane program is already above the LSU program IMO."

Of course they are...afterall it was Tulane playing in the CWS last year, being ranked in the Top 10 this season, and just winning a series over the #1 ranked team and not LSU. Right...............

Jones is a perfect example of why decent coaches leave tulame. Athletic success is not sustainable at that institution.

If you all want to read a meltdown on the Rant, I'm about post an arguement about how I think SU Athletics is catching up with LSU's.

This should be fun

The main reason that will not happen, at least on a sustained basis, is that as soon as one of those little schools attains anything close to that level of success, their coach will be lured away to a better gig at a bigger school.

will over take some of LSU athletic programs. For instance take SU or ULL for example. Their baseball programs have been on an incline for the past few years. They are bringing in more talented recruits that have major league talent. Each other teams have a few guys that will get drafted into the majors. I see this trend continuing and eventually catching up to the prized LSU baseball program in the next few years.

Centenary has filed DI papers I heard. They open with Southern Cal, Oklahoma, and Florida.
