Yeah I agree with the original poster that there is way too much doom and gloom on here. There should be a board just for those that ONLY want to bitch moan and complain all the time.

Maybe the person that manages this site can do that.

There are those of us that are TRUE Tiger fans no matter what and we choose to avoid all the negativity.

As for all of you smartasses that have complained and will complain you can kiss my arse

No, it's not, but we have to admit to the sky being a tad grayer than the bright blue sky of 05,06, and 07.

True, but not all posting here are LSU fans.

09 was an improvement over 08 in SEC record, overall record, bowl invited to, and national ranking. It redirected our trend upward and that's a good thing, but we need to continue that into 10. We need better play on the field, better recruiting, and better decisions from our coaching staff.

Don't waste your time on these chicken-little pussies, dude. All of the Miles haters deal with LSU football the way they deal with life. It's kind of pre-programmed. They think we are stupid to be positive even though we see all the faults they do. It all depends on how you deal with situations that are out of your hands. If LSU football was the movie ALIENS, they would all be the Pvt. Hudson character played by Bill Paxton- upset and screaming "what the frick are we gonna do now?! It's over!" We're Ripley. They think we just have sunshine pumping out our arse no matter what. Do we have things to address? For damn sure. But I'm giving Les and THE TEAM the chance and the support to do better like I know they will. We're locked and loaded and ready for next year.
Are all these posters with this gloom and doom attitudes results of being raised in day cares. I have never seen so many girly men.

In a perfect world, maybe so. And college football as we know, ain't no perfect world. Some coaches are better than others at adapting to the talent on hand but the guys who have complicated systems generally rely on recruiting the type of QB/athlete who can successfully implement the scheme. LSU had done that for years with general success until the RP episode. Jimbo's schemes were only slightly less complex than GC's and he usually made it work out, other than the days he got way to conservative. From Booty,Davey and Nall to Flynn and RP the Tigers had a good run of having not one but two guys capable of executing the winning gameplan. Through the first 8 years of the decade just completed, this was generally the rule, until RP was booted. That did change everything, because for the first time in over a decade the Tigers only really had one guy who was ready and suddenly, he was gone. Crowton and Less have not been up to the task od adapting to their young unproven guys and that is largely the reason for 9 losses the past two seasons rather than just 4 or 5.

If you really think this then there is no helping you.

I was speaking of the offensive units, the defense was much better. And if you think Miles isn't complacent, then why in the hell is Crowton still here. He got rid of Malveto, and should have, because they were horrible, but the offense this year, was as bad as the defense was last year. Look at any stat, or ranking you can find, and the numbers will back that up. Yet last year it was completely on the D, and he made the right changes. This year, its the O, and he's sticking by his guns. GOOD! Because next year he won't have anyone to blame, but himself, and the coaching search is on.

Yep.

I'm sure next year this board will be cluttered with posts from little pieces of shite like you rooting against LSU.

Why?

Because you're a bandwagoner who'd rather be "right" than see Miles win.

If Miles eventually does get fired, does that make you an "expert"?

No. You would have hit on a 50-50 shot and the sun even shines on a dog's arse every now and then.

I'm sick and tired of you armchair idiots with registration dates from Oct 2009 to Jan 2010 who signed up just to bitch and moan and start inane, stupid, non-substance threads.

I don't wish death on anyone.

But hey, break all your fingers where you can't post anymore.

I agree with everything you said except i dont believe Miles is complacent. His latest interviews prove that he recognizes there's a problem and plans on trying to fix it. I guess he thinks that Crowton wasnt the main issue. I just hope he's right because it will probably cost him his job if he's wrong.

Even though i think Crowton should have been fired, he has run a very good offense before and helped get LSU to a NC. So now that he's staying...i might as well support them and hope they turn it around.

So are you hoping LSU loses just so they'll be fired? If so...that doesnt really make much sense to me.

Woot another bandwagon comment because of people with differing opinions. I wonder who would really be the bandwagon fan and if there was a way to measure this.

That depends on what is "fine" with a given person. For many of you, .500 in the SEC and not coming within shouting distance of a division title, let alone anything bigger, is "fine". For those people, yes, we will be fine.

For those of us who expect top 5 talent, top 10 resources and facilities, top 10 fan support, top 10 visibility, and a top 5 (paid) coach to finish higher than unranked one year and 17th the next, we are definitely not "fine".

stop crying all the time

Criticizing =/= crying. And we don't criticize all the time. We only criticize when the coach is doing a piss-poor job. I know lately that has been pretty much all the time, but that's Les Miles' fault.

Why do you and so many others hate LSU so much that you want us not only to BE mediocre, but to LIKE it as well?

What you and all the other numbnutz don't understand is that coming here day after day bitching and pissing and moaning is pretty fu cking juvenile. Day after day, post after post it's the sme old fu cking boring thing. What good do you idiots think you are acomplishing? You want Miles fird today? Woo-Hoo that would be good for the program wouldn't it? But somehow it would make you feel good? How? Then you start that same old tired shite with the next guy?
Does it make you some how feel good to cry and whine every day. Whopeee that's manly isn't it?
"Baawwwww. Fire Miles, Baaaawwwwww." Cry in your fu cking beer today, cry in it tomorrow. Post the same lame shite yesterday, today and tomorrow. Give it a fu cking rest.
You have proved your point. You Miles haters are babies. We get it. Now go away.
Time to grow up and shut up.

UC, you know what these guys remind me of?

You know the aggravating three year old brat in the grocery store you wish the mother would just smack in the mouth?

The kid constantly screaming and crying: "BAAAWWW!!! Want Dat! Want DAT!!!!!"

These morons are constantly screaming: "BAAWWW!!! Wan' Miles fired NOW! Wan' Gruden!!! WAN' PATTERSON!!! Wan' COWHER!!! WAAAAAAHHH!!!!"

And then just like the little kid screaming for things they can't have, if they GOT what they wanted--in this case a new coach--they'd be bitching, pissing and moaning and crying just like the kid in the store in that aggravating whine that makes you wish you could just spank his arse.

I realize there are some problems that need addressing and yes, next year will be a key one for Les Miles at LSU.

But what the hell good does it do to start 100 inane threads on "what if" this and "what if" that?

I hope Chicken has the ban police out in force next season.

Because these little whiners--who want to be "right" so they can prove to everyone how smart they are--will be ROOTING for LSU to fail.

Fine. Let them do it in their rooms in their parents' house.

Or yes, give them their own Whiner's Forum.

Just keep their bullshite off this board.

Get you head out of your arse and realize Miles is as shitty a coach than he is public speaker. He's good for 2 losses a year just on his game management. Thats ok though, you'll be the one looking like a fruitcake when deja vu x 3 comes around next year. Like I said earlier there is reality, and then there is fantasy. Its a damn shame you would rather live in fantasy land.

And I would call it much better than a 50-50 shot. Its already gone on for two years, and what has taken place to make me believe it will be any different next year with a tougher schedule?
