IF LSU beats FLA without Tebow, That will be the reason. IF LSU beats FAL I want them AT full strength.
I don't really care if we beat UF because the entire team has the shits and can't really play at full speed in diapers.
A win is a win.

I'd like to take this opportunity to reiterate a point I have made previous, if College Gameday comes next week, please be careful what signs are made in conjunction with this injury ... furthermore, IF something happens to Tebow during the game, please no chants, no taunting or laughing. Can you imagine the firestorm that the media would put on LSU for making light of an injury PARTICULARLY one to Tim Tebow? Let's all agree that if any injury happens to either team, we'll show some sportsmanship, please?

"If his arse is dumb enough to play before it is physically safe, that is his issue."
Technically you're right. He is a consenting adult, but he is young and impressionable. He probably doesn't fully understand the risks. Or he may feel the need for the greater glory of winning another heisman and another NC for UF, so that he's willing to take the risks. I certainly hope that he has someone other than UM who he can turn to for reasonable advice.

Urban Meyer is a chump, scumbag, ego-maniac. Per the South Florida papers Urban says Tebow did not lose consciousnes. Several UF players were quoted as saying Tebow was "out". There are three grades of concusions. If you go out that is classified as a 3. If you are classified as a 3 then the recovery is several weeks. Tebow will play against LSU. Meyer is riding the horse that made him a wealthy man. Bu the way their are reports that Tebow suffered a mild concussion against Tennessee.

Hold Tebow out. Brantley starts.
We'll start Lee to make things right.
Who you got?

He was pretty wealthy before he got there. And If Tebow isn't ready and Meyer forces him to play. WELL YOU HAVE GOT A STORY.

Tebow will play if the doctors clear him....Meyer doesnt make that decision
Posted on 9/29/09 at 7:18 pm to conman
Let Meyer deal with his media storm and let us not take any heat off of him by doing our own stupidity.

You realize there is a distinction between can play and should play?

The reports that he had a previous concussion were from internet message boards like this one. The UF doctors and his high school coach have both confirmed that he has not had a previous concussion. But, don't let facts get in the way of your opinion of Urban Meyer.

Even if it's a minor concussion, your coach will get flack for playing him if he gets hurt against LSU.

If he is cleared to play and UM lets him play its their problem. What I worry about is if he were to get seriously re injured its gonna really mess up the guy that tackles him.

Alex Smith?

No way he plays if he hasn't been cleared by the doctors. No way. Say what you want about UM, but he's not that kind of coach. Besides, John Brantley is quit capable.

UM will use it as an opportunity for Tebow to show his skill as a passer
FWIW, gatorprincess kept a thread updated about his condition on Saturday and EVERYONE was wondering basically what the hell he was still doing in there. Her answer was they were worried about their passing game and they were using it as an opportunity to work it out.
