Ok Karen, it’s already been revealed that the death rate is waaaayyyy lower than originally anticipated. Stanford had a study that revealed it is actually lower than the flu. Chill out.

Ok, nimrod. I'll go ahead and mark you down as being in the group of idiots who are for the 5 mph speed limit to eliminate virtually all auto deaths. Got it.

The point is, you can't live life being a scared little pussy which is what libs do. We don't live in bubble wrap. Life is about REASONABLY mitigating risk, and enjoying it. Help others if possible. Not a very hard concept.

It seems to me it would give you the best shot to minimize any transfer within the team.

The first thing I would do is test them for conditioning, make them all run a mile.

The second thing I would do is test them for speed, run a forty yard dash.

Then test them for drugs.

Test them for flu

Test them for Aids

Test them for high blood perssure

Test them for diabetes

Test them for obesity

Test them for STD's

Oh test them for Covid-19

Agree completely...the cost would be minimal compared to a single hospitalization of a team member.... and if it can keep a player or two from transmitting the shite to loved ones, it would be worth the trouble.

COVID was the biggest hoax in history. We were all going to die if anyone left their home according to the media...until 100,000 rioters wanted to congregate to burn shite down and suddenly social distancing doesn’t matter anymore.

You're entitled to your opinion, but hospital workers who are at greater risk of exposure as well as greater risk of infection (older) are using the exact same process, and they have been very effective in limiting infection. Policy should be based on data, not conjecture and opinion.

I have little concern about our players getting seriously sick; they are some of the healthiest people in the world. More so if anyone is going back home to older parents and grandparents (which can be stopped) and specially being around the older coaches.

How about the family and friends of the 5,800 Americans that have died from it in the last 7 days?

There was a 21 year old soccer player/coach in the Real Madrid farm system who died of it. While it is rare, it does kill young people, and leaves many with diminished lung capacity. "Letting the players get it in June" is a terrible terrible idea.

If those blue state governors and mayors can allow thousands of protesters and rioters to take the streets and in their next breath they say , someone with a business and church goer can’t do the same is pure bull crap , then they say you can’t compare cause of the 400 year history, how can JBE do his updates with a straight face , he must think we are stupid with that smug look on his face

You're not at risk...not your family....so no one cares if you're a little disappointed.

It's less than that. The cases have been WAY underreported (because 99% of people when sick from anything including covid stay home and get over what they have), and the deaths have been inflated for a few reasons.

People of all ages die from the flu each year. We shouldn't halt the best economy in our history over a virus.
