I know. I am a fan of bother teams and I have a lot of friends who are big fans. There is just a really terrible contingent of the fan base.

I would pull for them. In Omaha, in 2000, most Tiger fans did, though we were in different brackets. Both teams even shared the same hotel. Mutual respect back then from both fans and players from both teams.

I agree there is a section of the ULL fan base that hates anything to do w/ LSU. But I know just as many LSU fans who hate everything about ULL. It goes both ways. It's honestly just sad.

I have always pulled for any and all LA teams when not playing LSU. My first devotion is to my home - Louisiana.
I have always pulled against every SEC team unless they by chance were playing a team I had special dislike for. We recruit against SEC.
As the undisputed flagship of the state, the other state schools are not a true long term threat in any sport.
