Hypotehtical- What if O doesn't deliver on his promises?

With regards to coaching hires.
I'd have to imagine he gave Joe pretty substantial evidence that a guy like Kiffin was going to come on board. With the coaching carousel kicking into gear, maybe Kiffin gets a job.
What if Aranda goes to Texas? Only paying Herman $5 million, it seems Texas would probably have some cash to lure him. Houston's DC coaching their bowl game makes me pause.
So potentially, the stopgaps that emboldened Alleva to name O the guy fall apart. What do you do at that point?

What promises? Just bc you've read something 100 times on a baseless message board and convinced yourself it should happen doesn't mean the head coach promised it. Let the guy do his job for 24 hours before you hypothetically start figuring out reasons to get rid of him.

If that were the case, I'd really hope Alleva would treat those as conditions precedent to his hiring and void the hire... one can hope

I don't understand why Kiffin would come to LSU. I see Kiffin leaving Bama for a HC job and nothing less.
