She is having fun this year. She has improved. Yet some just want to hate her for some reason. Makes no sense on hating a former LSU player who has improved. Some people just hate bc their life is miserable.

Who cares. It’s WBB.

You are going in circles. You don't know how stats work. You keep pointing to turnovers. Did you watch all the turnovers she made on every game?

Another question, do you think a QB is always responsible for the INT that he is credited with?

That is what you are saying, that the QB is always responsible for the INT. Not that the WR dropped the ball, or the ball tipped at the line, or a DB made a great play.

You want to ignore OVERALL improvement. Fine. You be you. That's the only stat you want to look at instead of all the other stats.

I don't care about WBB. Just why bash a former player who is having fun and an improved season?

So your sample for THIS year is one game. That's not how sampling works. One game isn't representative. And as to the old horse that keeps getting beaten to death by everyone of "it's a lesser level of competition," the level of support is also less. I would think the two would cancel out.

Then why didn't you specifically narrow the thread to this premise when you started?

I too like hvl but she doesn't compete well against top tier teams.

TCU beat NC State, Notre Dame (twice) and Baylor (twice) and won 34 of 38 games. Lots of teams have had trouble with Texas, including the one in Baton Rouge.

I saw HVL play five times in person this season. She was never going to be a star point guard in the SEC because she doesn't have the quickness, especially on defense.

But she hustles her butt off and she is an extremely smart player. She knew her only path to the WNBA was to learn how to play point guard from one of the best ever in Mulkey. The experiment failed.
Van Lith was rejuvenated by making the Olympic team in 3-on-3 and then by going back to her old role at TCU. She was easily the best player in the Big 12....but it was the Big 12.

My guess is that HVL will be a bench player for some WNBA team, but will really make her money by playing a few years in that new 3-on-3 league.
That's her game.

She's also going to make a helluva young basketball coach when her playing days are finished.

He has a hated vendetta against her for some reason. In 3 separate threads he has mentioned her. Keeps repeating the same thing "20% shooting, 7 turnovers" like they were her average the whole year. She averaged 46% shooting (improved from last year) and averaged 2.9 TO a game before last night.

They played SC earlier in the year and she shot 41% against them but he does not mention that. He is hater for whatever reason. Taking one game against one of the top teams in the country as his "gotcha" moment.
