LSU opponent related. This kid wasn't a starter and has had problems before. Hope he heals and gets a degree.

Ouch. Always hurts to lose a key contributor.

I almost feel as bad for him as I do for the rest of the Huskies. Holy Moses, we're gonna stomp that arse.

While possible and I hope for it, we can't take these bastards lightly. By "we" I mean the team of which we have no part of, of course.
As the season progresses this game could be our trump card. We need a great showing and not to slop through 3 and a half quarters eventually wearing them down like so many recent years.

Very sad. Hate to know my son was in a position to play college ball and worked hard just to have this happen over and over again.

Poor kid. He's got to be going through hell right now. Wish him the best though.

I feel so bad for him. He's probably the most positive and inspirational person on the team and hasn't been able to even take a snap yet. Tore his same acl twice his first two years and then tore his other acl this year. I'm still rooting for him to make a recovery, but it's not looking good for the rest of his career. He looked like an absolute stud when he showed up to camp as a Freshman and would probably be our starter right now if he had a healthy career.

I am sorry to hear that. How do you think this affects the offense going into the LSU game?
I must say if the running game is affected and the passing game becomes pivotal for the huskies to move the ball, that sort of plays right into LSU's hand - since the DBs and DLine is the strength of this defense. Although in the past LSU has had trouble covering the TE out in the flat.

This won't affect our plans at all. He hasn't played a snap yet of college football due to his knee injuries and wasn't being counted on to contribute because he was still recovering from his previous knee injury.

You clearly do not belong on this board.

Most likely, not at all. He was slated as the 3rd string who likely would have touched the ball a few times each game. The plan was to slowly bring him back into it. However, he showed some brilliance and might have been able to work his way up the depth charts had he not been injured - again (this time opposite knee).
All along we believed Callier will start/share with Sankey or will be replaced by Sankey mid-season. Sankey is a true Soph that showed some speed and power last year. Both are very serviceable. We will see if they are as durable as Polk.
