Other than being 5'8 180 and throwing 85-88mph can I get a pro scout to tell me why Devall who for the last 2yrs coming out of spring practice being #1 an #2 in team era not seen any PT. Devall pretty much threw to the 1st team batters 95 percent of the time with the 2nd team fielding. LSU has had some of the best hitters in the nation with 8 leaving last yr early. My questions are (1)why has he thrown the least of our pitchers the last 2yrs an if Devall can hold these athletes at LSU to such a low era and these guys see his pitches everyday shouldnt he be able to challenge guys from other teams that hasnt seen him. Something doesnt add up.
A young man showing that much promise coming out of spring practice the last 2yrs you would've thought he'd seen some PT.

You post about Devall a lot. You're either his dad or you're related to him...

LSU hitters have faired worse this year against subpar pitchers than they do against All-SEC type guys. So, if LSU struggles to hit Devall.......

He pitched in 4 post season games, including two in Omaha. He's a situational lefty that is good for a couple of batters but not dominant enough to extend much further. I think last year he was used properly.

If hes able to dominate LSU batters hes very much capable of handeling a couple of more batters from many other SEC schools boss. We get some of the BEST.

Would you consider these guys:
Newman,Poche,Lange,Valek,Cartwright subpar because it appears our hitters struggled againt them in the spring as well.
