Him and Hanny are close but Hunt comes across as a bit more likable to me.

Did we just miss on all these transfers, coupled with underwhelming DB recruiting?

Yes

Denver Harris didn't mature

Johnson broke his leg

Duce Chestnut is ok, but not great

Zy Alexander seems real good but this is big boy football so there's reason for concern.

All you need to know is that they moved a two year disappointment at safety to corner.

I like Hunt

No one covers LSU baseball better than him and I find he's more of a realist than a sunshine pumper like some of the other 104.5 guys.

FSU winning this weekend wouldn't be that surprising. They're a very good team.

The same concerns with the secondary were there last season with LSU starting two transfers. One being a player from a lower level school in Louisiana. The other being a veteran player from a different power conference.

FSU didn't necessarily have a field day passing against LSU. Travis threw for 260. FSU's first TD was on a flea-flicker; The second was simply an outstanding catch by a WR who was well covered. What really hurt LSU's defense was the lack of a pass rush. Of course, that pass rush featured Ali Gaye (who I don't think got a QB pressure at any point in his career past his very first game at LSU) and NO Harold Perkins. You also had an LSU offense who did not find a rhythm until the 4th quarter behind a horrible OL.

If you are going to say there is a potential weak spot for LSU it is at CB. But to simply raise that concern and not acknowledge LSU is significantly better at every other position than they were in the game against FSU last season is foolish.

LSU went into that game last season unsure of essentially everything on their roster. That is not the case this season. The staff has a feel of what they have and how to use them. That's why you can sense the confidence in Kelly's voice.

Perhaps he was moved to corner because he WAS a 2 year disappointment at safety and LSU is better at that spot now.

Ben Dover isn't too bad, except when he's an a-hole.

I like Hunt and he’s easy listening unlike some of the others in BR. I respect his prediction but he’s been notoriously bad at predictions so I’m good with it. to HuntTheFan (at least he doesn’t claim he doesn’t look at the Rant like Moscona)

Honestly that's not a bad thing, because if you listen to him long enough you'll know that his picks are hawt garbage.. so much so that when he makes and betting picks I pick the opposite and it's turned out in my favor more times than not...

I respectively disagree with his prediction: FSU struggled to defeat LSU last season with basically a brand new team. FSU's season was serviceable

I believe LSU's trajectory from last season and will show itself Sunday. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Hunt is not a homer and he raises some genuine concerns. Our secondary is our weak link and they have a good QB and WR corps. If our DL can't pressure or hurry their QB, it can get ugly very quickly.

Hunt has always been a milquetoast type of guy. Regardless of his prediction for this game.
