Forfeit.

This is oversimplifying it, but get pressure with 4 and stop the run with 7. That’s how all great offenses have been neutralized since the 80’s and it will still work.

You can't, can only hope to contain it

Pray for a couple lucky/freak turnovers I guess
Pressure Burrow best I could, which wouldn’t work
Sacrifice my soul to satan I guess is about the only answer

Press coverage across the board. Live and die by stopping the short pass and run allowing a few deep passes to get over your defense. If your lucky you relegate LSU to low percentage throws and hope that you have playmakers in the secondary.

Trick question. Can't be done

Set Joe up with a clap infected coed.

I'd attempt practicing swapping postions in certain looks. Our offense puts TEs and RBs outside covered by corners. Put my fastest LBs and safeties out there and use 3 nickels

I know. Its not possible so my answer is good enough.
Option b is to recruit 11 trindon holidays to rush the qb

The only possible way this offense gets completely stopped is to send somebody down low late on Joe. Then, there's still the off chance that Brennan comes in and does the same shite to you, so that's no guarantee to work
Now, short of dirty and illegal, it would take a perfect defense to do. You'd have to have an elite offensive like similar to Auburn that can control the LOS on run plays and also get pressure by themselves in passing scenarios. You'd need 2-3 elite linebackers who can play a very strong zone in the middle of the field, and also react to the run quickly enough to chase down and tackle CEH on outside runs and screens. Your 4-5 secondary defenders would have to be elite man to man guys capable of running stride for stride with Marshall, Chase, Jefferson, but also agile enough to cut on a dime with Chase and Jefferson's route running, big enough and physical enough to match up size wise with Thad Moss. They'd also need to be able to effectively mix in zone coverage at will, because if Burrow and this offense see the same thing every time, they're going to find a way to beat it.
Good. Frickin. Luck.

Maybe wait for some old-school LSU coach to go conservative? Other than that, I got nothin!!

I think there have been small examples throughout the year that could lead to some varying defensive styles that at least frustrate our offense.
Look at the AU game. We didn’t click on all cylinders and 9 even said they used looks he had never seen before.
Look at the interception against Ole Miss where they played press man off the line and then the shallow corner snuck into a deeper zone to undercut the route for an interception.
It takes the personnel to guard a legit 5 weapons every play and a defensive line with big tackles to clog the middle and ends that can get elite pressure. The UF ends are a good example if they had been healthy vs LSU. AU has as good a DL as in college football in the last few years.
Maybe most of all...a defense can’t blow assignments and can’t miss tackles. If Bama tackles CEH numerous times on first contact, then the outcome may have been different.
Every skill position player will play in the NFL and we have numerous non-starters who will also play on the league. The only area we have some weakness is the OL and they have been good enough when called upon. Austin D. versus a really good rush end scares the crap out of me because he isn’t quick enough to stay with that kind of athleticism.
From what I have seen with UGA, I don’t expect them to slow down the train.
Player for player, the OSU defense is the one that I think matches up the best. An elite DE that is as good as we have seen on CFB, a top 20 pick at CB, solid across the line, decent LBs, and depth. They might have the talent to try to do some of the things I listed above but it’s takes a damn strong performance and some luck.

The same way the NFL has stopped Brees cold in his tracks. Oh wait......
An offense of this design requires a QB with above average skills because it puts a lot on him. Conversely if you have that QB then he has a solution to every defense at his disposal. Hard to defend the entire field at all times.
We will see the offense regress some next year, that's inevitable. Hopefully what I hear is true with Brennan and he is a football junkie with above average accuracy.
If so good luck SEC.

Remember what that guy did at the beginning of "The Last Boy Scout"?
That.

I think you would need elite DBs that could go man on man with our receivers. I don't know that any team has this.

I wouldn't try to rush Joe Burrow. I would try to contain him instead cause he is dangerous as hell under pressure. Then I would put 8 in coverage and try to keep everything in front of the defense to try to slow him down cause you are not going to stop Burrow, but you may slow him down.
