Well, after reading this board, I'm pretty sure we'll be dropped out of the top 5.

No way we stay ranked as high as we are.

I don't understand the WVA answers. Didn't see the game, but didn't they allow quite a few points tonight?

disgusting.

oregon is not better than LSU.

do you not remember how unpotent their offense was against LSU in a big time game.

the pac talk people are saying how mighty strong LSU's D looked today.

maybe as of right now

bama
usc
lsu
oregon

LSU looked strong all things considered. They just had a hurricane disrupt their entire week.

Hate the PAC 12 all they are is offense. Oregon scored big but gave up 34 at home to an unranked. Oklahoma struggled all game before finally pulling away 24-7 on UTEP. Top five is hard to say but Alabama was impressive in their victory, USC dominated unranked Hawaii and LSU handled North Texas. After that it's hard to say 4 and five. But Bama gets 1 based on how they dominated a high ranked opponent. A lot like LSU did to Oregon last year.

A little early to make this call. Alabama was impressive and will probably be #1 in both polls. At this point LSU has the potenti to be a top five team. That said, they still having some growing to do. Need to give the month of Sept.

OSU dropped like 100 on some poor team.

that's a team mcneese would hang 70 on while resting its starters in the 4th quarter

Oregon's Defense allowed 34 points from ARKANSAS STATE FFS.

That's not top five.

Like most of the media, all a lot of people look at is points scored. Everyone goes crazy when a team runs a fast paced offense and scores a ton of points. Yet those teams never actually DO score a ton of points against a great defense, and are so chitty on defense themselves that they can't even stop a so so offense with a good running game.

Oregon stopped playing when it was 50-3 in the second quarter. Their skill guys are unreal.

Same with WVU. Geno Smith impressed me the most out of any player today.

Come on... Do you really look at a team that RAN THE HURRY UP for an entire half against ArkySt and come out amazed that the offense looked good? I mean hell they ran a 2 pt. conversion after the first TD. It reminded me of when I play a a school without a name on NCAA and win 107-3. Doesn't mean anything.
