Will they let both teams play aggressive?

Will they only call it one way(as it seems it has been called in the past)?

I'm praying they let Tolivier and Williams play tight aggressive coverage and don't call freaking PI or holding

Upvote = Clean called game
Downvote = LSU gets the shaft again

I’ll take a wild guess and say there won’t be many penalties called on the boys in crimson

The refs have not cost LSU one single game against Bama... just like last year... was there holding on the TD run??? Yes.... however LSU had chances to score in that game and blew them....

If it comes down to it, the officials are the Gumps last line of defense. It won’t come down to that.

No need to ask. You already know the answer:

If LSU wins -- It's incredible we beat Bama AND the officials!

If LSU loses -- We got screwed again by the officials!

Rinse and repeat

This is absolutely the worst narrative that you can try to play on.

Ritter doesn’t do on field games anymore. He does video replay calls from the SEC “home” office in Alabama.

The point was not that the officiating will cost us the game but how will the game be called. No matter if they called holding on the Hurts run last year we all know we weren't beating Alabama.

Which is worse!

No different than how it always is every time LSU/bama play.

At this point why would we expect anything less?

This is becoming a boring and pathetic complaint for LSU fans.

Virtually every game we blame on officials could have been won by better play, specifically tackling or passing. The Peterson pic is the only one that baffles me to this day.

I see this comment made whenever LSU fans comment on officiating in BAMA games. Simple question, why is LSU forced to overcome numerous poor calls or non calls and the opponent not have the same burden?

Your comment on the Peterson clear interception is a classic example. The team executed very well and made a big play for which they should have been rewarded . Instead BAMA kept the ball and went on to score to put the game out of reach. Yes, they could have still stopped them, but that ignores momentum, field position LSU would have gained with time to drive and take the lead.

The fact is year after year BAMA does not have to overcome those officiating blunders. They may have still won but lets see what happens when they don't benefit from those game changing officials decisions.

1st Quarter

We got a gift INT at Alabama's 33 move it to the 30 and we couldn't even get a damn FG!

Move it again to Alabama's 43, nothing!

2nd Quarter

Get to Alabama's 40, nothing!
Get to Alabama's 42, nothing!

3rd Quarter

Get to Alabama's 35, and we shite the bed bad, nothing!

4th Quarter

We can't sniff Alabama's side of the field!

So please tell me how we would have won the game even if the game was still 0-0 going into the 4th?

While I agree with this statement in general, they did potentially cost us the game of the Patrick Peterson interception. That was just straight up bull shite. There's no guarantees we score and win the game but they took away an opportunity there for certain. I'll never forget that one.

It was 0-0 entering the fourth quarter and the the first score was Hurts TD with about 10 minutes left aided and abetted by multiple holds. The FG was just tacked on at the end but who knows what transpires if the Hurts TD is negated by penalty. You can say they would not have scored but you never know when BAMA might fumble inside the ten, it happened in 2014. Maybe in a scoreless game LSU kicks a long FG to win it at the end.

These repeated threads bitching about officiating make our fans look extremely idiotic and infantile.
