Nope. First you think an MSU slept with my wife or girlfriend now maybe my friends are assholes and we're the problem. None of the above. Maybe I just telling you the truth of my experience and the people that I have spoken with about it. MSU fans were were being drunken obnoxius rude asshooles. I can only tell you what my wife, my sister, and I have experienced. And this without direct interaction, just being in the same section they were in. And have similar stories relayed to me by coworkers who were fans at other SEC schools. Auburn, Ole Miss and Florida to be specific. All with similar, repeated experience. Sorry if this offends you or hurts your feeling, it's just my experience.

This is undoubtedly true and maybe it's just some of those the guys who typically travel to away games for Miss State. And like I have said, this doesn't seem to hold to the alums I have worked with so it's probably just bad luck of the draw for me and the other people who have had similar experiences.
Can't fault you for defending your people, though. As I said, the MSU graduates I actually know are great people, a couple of them are some of the finest people I have ever met.

5 PM kickoff in ideal weather for SEC opener. I think it will be rocking. You couldn’t ask for better game conditions. Leaving stadium around 9 is nice too

Mississippi State fans are usually pretty nice but they have some interesting characters for sure. Some old guy tried to fight us after LSU beat y'all a few years ago in basketball at State. Just kept yelling and screaming at us and me and my brother were just like wtf who is this guy

Yep, but every fanbase has that story. There were people picking fights last time I was in BR as well. Alcohol makes people dumb. That said, the worst fanbases I’ve seen in Starkville were Florida and Tennessee. Every time there are tons of fights.

This will be my first game in over 10 years. Been working up in the DC area for my career for over 4 years now, and just moved back to Mississippi. My family, wife and I will be staying no matter what until the game is over. We cant wait to be there!
