Why on earth waste defender in coverage? Who would get him the ball?

I bet even if they did blow an assignment on that 1 wide receiver we'd still run right up the gut vs 11

Bull rush, concede the occasional deep ball.

They won't have to. LSU's offense stops itself.

Just focus on what Miles likes to do. Take that away and you beat Less!

The funny thing is, JSU DL plays very wide which leaves the middle open...kinda plays into our typical game plan. Run straight at em. Which begs the question...

How loud will the booing be when we do the smart thing (based on their defense) and run Williams and Guice right at em instead of working on the passing game?

Honestly, I worry that you will be able to line up and mash us. Our DL is very good, but they are FCS good. Your OL is huge and your RB's are monsters. I am hopeful that we can slow you down and our offense can keep yours off of the field.

You guys do have a good DL, but it's not designed to stop our strength. And our fans are going to go insane if we play to our strength.

It all depends on results and what FCLM does if it doesn't work.

I would feel better if we had Dawson Wells at MLB. He was the answer to power run teams last season... unfortunately he graduated. Stoudemire replaced him and has the size but not the experience (RSo).

Our DC is good, and I am sure he knows what adjustments are needed to our alignment. WIth your OL and RB's, I don't know that it will matter. That is where the mismatch is.

Our D is our strong point. Good coach and good players. As for the O,

It's a pretty easy defensive scheme. Stack the box agains the run an guard the outside on the pass. That is literally all they have to think about.
