I am skeptical of you saying you would “gladly” pay $560 per year just to have access to LSU’s regular season baseball games on tv.
You really suck at logic. You need to think this through.

Why would I pay to watch home games on TV when I'm sitting in my season ticket seats in the Box?

Since LSU plays 19 away games this regular season I would have no problem paying $190 to see those games on TV.

LSU doesn’t play 56 road games. He goes to all the home games. We’re playing 18 games away from home in the regular season. That’s $180, not $560. If he already pays three grand to go to all the home games, $180 isn’t that much. It’s $45/month

Huh? He said he would gladly pay $10 to watch every LSU game. Are y’all just assuming that everyone has LSU season tickets?

I’m assuming he does because he said he did

You said you doubted he would pay $10/game when he already spends significantly more than that every year

You wouldn’t. But not everyone has season fricking tickets dude. No one cares how much you pay for your season tickets. For the 4th time, comparing the cost of watching a game on tv to the cost of a ticket to the game is a dumbass comparison.

Anecdotally, pre ESPN, I paid the monthly fee for Tiger Vision plus monthly fees at 5+ other schools to watch various road series and midweek games. And I was, gasp, already paying for ESPN on my TV. What horse shite right? It was far more than I pay now, including this weekend’s games

I’m talking about every LSU that doesn’t have season tickets, which is the majority of fans. Paying $10 to watch each game on tv would be absurd.

I doubted that he would gladly do it. I’m not sure why anyone would be happy to do that. Also he spends significantly more because it’s a ticket to the game. There’s no way you actually think making that comparison is a good comparison right?

Yeah. Would you gladly go back to doing that?

Then be thankful for ESPN giving us a fat contract and media rights. You could be stuck with Blair and Thompson for every home game on Tigervision at prob $20/month and not being able to watch road games without paying for each series through a different service

If that was the only option, yeah I would. I’m thankful I don’t have to and have no problem paying a whole $30 once a year. It’s the only option to watch the games this weekend and not a big deal

What the hell are you talking about? When have I complained about ESPN broadcasting college baseball games?

I pay for it every year too. I’m not sure what your point is.

That without ESPN you’d be paying a couple hundred dollars a year if you wanted to watch every LSU baseball game. I did it back when it was the only option yet you think it’s absurd people would pay a lot of money to do it now.

Yeah, times have changed. There’s a bunch of shite that people use to do that would be dumb to do now. Why would anyone willingly want to go back to something that was worse? That makes no sense.

Again, what’s your point? To prove LSURussuan wouldn’t spend $500/year to watch baseball?

I’ve repeated it over and over again in this exact thread. Comparing the cost of a ticket to a baseball game to the cost of watching the same game on tv is a dumb comparison.

You are the only poster in this thread repeatedly using that situation to justify your unwillingness to pay $30 to watch 3 away games on TV this weekend. Talk about not making any sense...
