What the hell was anyone in the media thinking having us rated in the playoff brackey going into the Bama game in 2015?

Not realizing how terrible the defenses we faced that season.

The teams we beat averaged 88th in total defense.

It worked itself out

Look pal, O is losing to better teams so those losses are better than Miles' losses even though they are nearly identical in amount. Got it?

Actually, LSU is 4-5 against those teams

What years are you talking about? Miles last 3 full years?

Yes, they were 4-8, 7-5, and 10-4 those years.

From 2016 - 2018, LSU is 1-2 vs. UF, 2-1 vs. A&M and 0-3 vs. Bama, for a combined record of 3-6.

These perspective posts are so fricking annoying. We all know that football isn't as important as many things in life, it's not life or death etc

But we post on this board because we enjoy football and we care about it enough to talk to people about it online.

You edgy pseudo enlightened people can get on with that shite.

Now to answer OP's question, losing an opening game always stings no matter how good the opponent is

I can’t imagine LSU not being heavily favored given that Texas success depends on;

“If junior quarterback Sam Ehlinger can match or improve on last season's performance behind a line with three new starters; and if the Horns can adequately replace nine starters on defense.”

So they lose three starters on O line and NINE starters on defense? They’ve had back to back top three recruiting classes so they’ve got some good freshmen and sophomores but losing NINE starters on defense is brutal. I can’t remember LSU being in a better season starting position on Defense and most would agree the Offense should be much improved.

Smart people know it’s going to be a war. Don’t compare us to Georgia fans who haven’t been elite since the 80’s, however. I am in favor of a ban for your entire smug, leftist culture though. frick you!

Was at a casino in Tulsa for my friends birthday. She’s a Texas fan. I’m an LSU fan. That was the weekend Texas swept LSU in baseball. I’m still hearing about it.

We can’t lose this game, I’ll never hear the end of it.

Ain't gonna happen. It may happen some other year, but not this year. WE ARE STACKED!
