I hope someone that knows the team can answer. did they lose a lot of quality guys? front 7?

I just see this aspect of their team to be the key in LSU winning the opener.

They lost some talent up front but they’re well coached and should be a challenge.

Miami was one of the youngest teams in the NCAA last year. So no, they did not lose a lot of quality players!

LSU throws for 300+ on them.

I'd be happy with that even if we lost a close one.

Ed Reed and Ray Lewis aren't walking through that door.

This is dumb. I'd rather have negative passing yards and win.

I know what you're saying that obviously it'd show good improvement and probably mean better chances at winning down the line but we'd already have a loss anyway. Win each game whatever it takes, no matter how ugly.

Very stout.

They will stuff our toss dive play with ease.

On the flip side, LSU's defense is a big key in us winning also. If rosier is the qb, they are gonna struggle against our defense.

Where did I say that I'd rather the passing yards than the win? I said that I would still be happy with it.

They were inconsistent last year, but got a ton of turnovers.

They ranked 41st in the nation last year in total defense. They gave up 360 yards a game. Seem more vulnerable to the run than pass.

People who know more than me about their personnel say they didn't loose much.

They will be tough.

of course they will be a challenge. I think our D will make it difficult for them to score many points and I was just hoping their D would be the weak spot of their team. we struggled with scoring points last year and we need to score more this year.

they really don't have to be that stout against an offense with so many question marks.

I remember hearing their best D lineman and LB are gone?

2017 common opponents

They held Syracuse to 19 points
They held Notre Dame to 8 points

Both scored more against Aranda's defense.
