How much more of Johnny Jones can LSU take?

As if it was not enough that LSU did not make the NCAA Tournament after landing the No. 1 recruiting class for the 2015-2016 season, Jones has led the Tigers to a 9-9 start and a 1-6 SEC record thus far this season.

We all know that the ultimate embarrassment has yet to come; the dreaded match-up against Kentucky... IN RUPP ARENA!

Will Johnny Jones be fired after Kentucky, be fired after the season is complete, or be given one more season?

One more season to what? Watch attendance drop, be mediocre, watch the best in state talent leave, see if we can give up 90 every night, not make it to the tournament, deny a nit bid. What else do we need to keep him around for?

Serious question. What benefit does LSU get from letting him go now? They would have to essentially run the the table to make the NCAT. Is that going to happen under an interim coach? And if it did, is it out of the realm of possibility that Joe Alleva would just hire the interim and not conduct a full coaching search? He got a jump on everyone by firming Miles midseason and ultimately hired a guy he could have hired yesterday without even getting into a full scale search at the end of the season

Evidently someone at LSU (AD JA) can take more than the rest of us can

Yeah. Looks like Alleva is content to let this one play out ugly so there can be no arguing against his firing after this season.

LSUAD should not terminate JJ until after we've played our last game, assuming the nosedive we are in continues. This is his first losing season at LSU. Wait 'til its over.

PS We are already paying almost $1.9 million a year to pay someone NOT to be a HC at LSU. I wonder if the BOS is willing to pay yet another man NOT to coach at LSU?

Dude better not have a buyout. No one was going to come a rescue him from whence he came.

I have been done with JJ for some time now. That said, I think he is going to finish out the season then get fired. If he pisses the wrong folks off, they might try to embarrass him by shitcanning him with two or three games left. However, in all likelihood, while others are playing the SEC Tourney, we will be having a coaching vacancy about that time.

Dale and Collie and the rest of the gang can go 69 each other in a rat infested side ditch.

Rumors are starting that if he loses the next 5 it'll make a 10 game streak and he could be fired once that happens. I think it's too late but that's what was reported on the radio tnite.

Wish - No more and they fire him after the next loss.
Reality - End of the season because our AD is too chicken to make two big fires mid-season.

LSU will not win another basketball game this season. If they do it will be an upset. Jones inability to be competitive in games and lack of coaching will definitely get him fired at end of season. Sad to see how far LSU has dropped in just 1 season.
