I want to be 10 or bust, but reality is he could go 6-6 at worst and keep his job another year. That’s just how it’s going to be. Only a losing record will get him fired this year.

So you think this admin and AD are going to fire O if he wins 9 games this year? Give me some of what you’re smoking.

It should undeniably be 10, but as I’ve stated before, Alleva has to go first. If he wins 7 or less, Alleva is gone. If he wins 5 or more, O keeps his job for one more year.

Do you really think we’ll have two coaches on buyout plans? You f’ing retard. It has to be an absolute meltdown to fire him

I understand that some years you cant win them all but if you notice the past 5-6 years the way we lose games and the poor effort and coaching is embarrassing

Said it before and I’ll say it again. O is nothing more than a bridge to the next coach. He’s not the long term solution. We’re building up our money right now, and hopefully we will get a big time coach, or a big time up and coming name in the near future.

LSU doesn’t care about football anymore. Gov Edwards wants to get rid of it and obviously LSU is helping by hiring O

He’s not going anywhere until next year his job is tied to Alleva.

Here’s my bigges fear...

You fired Miles (which needed to be done because of his refusal to evolve on offense and because the game was passing him by), who won a NC and played for another, because he sunk to winning 8 games a year.

Because of the talent that can be recruited to LSU, 0 will never sink to Ole Miss depths and only win 4-5 games in a season. He will win 7-8 games a year, and constantly politic his way to another year...”We comin’ next year Joe...just watch!”

He’s a d*mn used car salesman and we now have ourselves in a big fat mess after Alleva gave an unqualified candidate an absurdly high buyout.

6 or 7 wins and he will keep his job, but his buddy of an AD will be gone! Then he will be in the frying pan next year!

Pretty much the worst case scenario. If that happens, by the time he’s gone, some of these people calling last year a rebuild will learn what a rebuild really is.

I think We’ll keep him unless we have a losing record.

7-6 would just make his seat super hot.

Just the size of his buyout will keep him here at least another year.

Miles was losing games he probably shouldn't have, but he hadn't "sunk to winning 8 games a year."

Miles first season where he only won 8 games was 2008. His next 8 win season was 2014.

Between those seasons his teams won 9, 11, 13, 10 and 10. And then he won 9 games in 2015 and more than likely would have had 10 wins if the McNeese State game had been played.

It was time to part ways with Miles, but people don't have to make shite up to try to prove a point.
