How many titles does Nick Saban win if he stayed at LSU?

Before everyone downvotes this shite into oblivion. Yes I know saban is gone, I'm not retarded. I'm using saban as an example. Louisiana is absolutely stacked with recruits every year. Saban's recruiting and coaching abilities are off the charts, hell he got LSU back into relevance I a few year with a natty to boot.

Imagine the good top 10 teams that miles fielded, and remember miles couldn't coach his talent to save his life, and he didn't always have the greatest defenses. Saban takes what LSU had and steps it up several levels. We would not be losing major kids from Louisiana like we are now to saban... because he is at lsu... So 2011 is a given you can't lose to a coach in a national championship game you didn't have to play. Take every Natty that saban did win and assume LSU would have won those with saban at the helm.

I personally think saban could have won 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 (we almost beat cam newton Auburn with les miles that was a damn good team), 2011, 2012, 2013(toss up year, Auburn was lights out) 2015, 2016(slightly better talent on this team edges out Clemson), 2017.

2003
2006
2007
2009
2011
2012
2013
2015
2016
2017

That is 10 national titles, that's a solute madness. The sad part is Saban was a play or 2 away from winning almost all of those (excluding 2006, 2008).

With Louisianas talent I see no reason saban could not have built an even larger dynasty in the bayou.

That was just a little thought, I know there is going to be a bitch storm about who the frick cares, or saban is the past, I need to stop posting tonight, etc... etc... Have at it, but I would also like to hear any differing opinions on the matter. And im not gonna lie, tiger stadium would collapse if we had 10 titles in 14 years. That would be incredible.

What does it matter? He didn't stay and we still won one after him.

I say 8. There would be no back to backs. That is way too hard to do. I'm removing your 2012 and 2016.

It's difficult to count past 2008. I don't think LSU would've gotten in BCSCG in 2005 even with an undefeated record. The media wanted Texas-USC all season. I think LSU would've gone back-to-back in 2006-2007.

We would have won a lot more if he stayed.. LIKE ALOT MORE, AND WE PROBABLY HAVE FRICKING TUA SLINGING THE BALL THIS SATURDAY. It sure would be nice not having to worry if your team, that had 2 nattys and 3 appearances over the course of 8 years and multiple conference championships, can get through the preseason without the media predicting you barely make .500 on the year with the Hopes of making the "lent between you couch cushion bowl".

LSU is doing fantastic so far this year. And I wish nothing more than to knock saban and kirby off their pedestals. But that is not going to happen from a talent standpoint, we have to have a great coach and gameplan. And we used to have the best one of all.

Obviously, I knew this kind of comment was going to happen.

That's why I left out 2005, Texas and USC were destined that year tbh.

And he's won 5 after us, including one at our own expense.

That's why it matters.

Saban won 2012 in the largest BCS blowout in history. Notre Dame had no right to be in that game, they scrapped by with an undefeated record against no one of value. Their legacy got them to that game. And Alabama made the nation know what they were. LSU with saban at the helm takes that season to the house. LSU was 10-2 that regular season with only losses to alabama (saban isn't at Alabama if that's the case), and Florida (saban wins this game). Even miles' team would have curbed stomped Notre dame. But I will give you 2016 deseaun Watson is a beast.

He would have built the same thing here as he has there. He is an unreal recruiter, organizer, and coach.. and Bama would not be better off without him..

He at least wins as many here as he has there IMHO. Possibly more considering Bama has been in our way.

More because, we would bring in a shite ton more instate talent not having to compete with any other SEC team and LSU established as the premier program would bring in the nation's best.

That's my exact feeling. And to be fair at times we have gotten in his way.

Louisiana is on of the big 5 football recruiting grounds. But it is also the most loyal to in state schools.

When?

Other than 9-6, the only times we've beaten them were years when Alabama wasn't a legit contender.

They were 10-3 in 2010. One loss was to LSU, and one was a 1 point loss to cam newton.

Right, which means they weren't going to the BCS regardless of that game against LSU.

I agree with your self evaluation.

Maybe Meyer goes to Bama if NS stays? Maybe he gets in trouble with the Candy Girl, or other scenarios? There can be just as much conjecture against your daydream, as for it.
Besides, Bama has, and always had a lot going for it besides Saban, REC not withstanding.
