Ha ha you mean the guy who won 34 games in his first 3 years and a national championship?

With sabans players?

The LESser man couldn't do as well under his own steam.

Ever wonder why nobody interviews him?

This. It’s unbelievable to me the lack of any foresight being displayed by the self proclaimed “real” LSU fans. Not to mention the flat out delusions.

If this team is crap in 2 years he needs to be canned. Last time I checked though lsu finished this season about where we expected before the year began. Now everyone wants to claim the world is falling because lsu lost to a good notre dame team in a meaningless bowl game where multiple starters were sitting out. Everyone here would have taken 9-3 in a heartbeat before this season began.

And Orgeron's only winning 9 games because of Miles players. Think how bad it's going to be once his own are here.

See how that works?

Your analogy only works if the LESser man was or is better.

He isn't./thread

I wonder? How many LSU head coaches have defeated Tennessee away, Auburn (top five), Texas A & M, Ole Miss, Florida (away), Syracuse (upset #1 Clemson), BYU all in one season? I looked it up: answer is zero

How many LSU head coaches have competed in the 2017 season??? Only one!!! Undeniable proof that Ed Orgeron is the bestesterest no coach will ever be as good as he is

If you told me one of those losses would be to effing Troy and another by 30 at Moo State then I find it hard to believe that "everyone" would be ok with that

Who you lose to and how tells a much bigger story than just end-of-year record.

2 terrible losses in the beginning of the year but then the team turned it around big time only losing to bama. Would you rather have a troy and state loss or have lsu lose to auburn and florida where lsu would have 0 meaningful wins.

Every shred of evidence supports that Miles is better than Orgeron.

in 2011:
instead of 4-8 Syracuse, we beat Pac-12 champ Oregon (finished in top 5)
instead of 4-9 BYU, we beat the Big East champ West Virginia (finished in top 20)
instead of 7-6 A&M, we beat eventual National Champs Alabama.
we also beat top 5 Arkansas
and top 20 Georgia.

That 9-3 is very deceiving and you know it. LSU still has the same major issues that the last coach got fired for, not much has changed at all.

Ya, not only have we previously not played BYU, 4 of those SEC teams we beat, fired their coaches. So your comparison isn’t reasonable. Those SEC teams aren’t similar to the past teams that were halfway decent. Shite, 4 of those teams didn’t even make a Bowl game.

You know, Tigbit, I have wondered the same thing. I have supported O, and will continue to pull for the Tigers always. But how many times are we going to have to hear about accepting blame, and getting things fixed. That’s talk for the beginning of the season. Not the end.

Didn’t answer my question.

Les is a significantly better coach than O
