Everyone keeps saying uga is on some other level talent wise. Go back all 4 years before this past recruiting class and LSU is actually ahead of UGA recruiting wise. UGA is not putting a team full of true freshmen out there this year. Those guys will get some playing time and some will even start, but those guys are not all going to be huge difference maners this upcoming season. Bama is the only team with a talent advantage over LSU IMO in the SEC.

First off I never said LSU had more talent then UGA or Even Auburn for that matter. I said Bama is the only team that has more talent than LSU. That is based off of the recruiting rankings coming in the past 5 years. The media’s perception of Ed Orgeron has everything to do with how many PRE season all sec guys LSU has vs anyone else.

But to say it impacts individual player talent evaluations. Lmao. How are you getting that from my comment? To me that seems pretty obtuse.
Here's what I am trying to say....rating relative talent is subjective. We won't really have decent barometer for it for a few years when we see how many players from each teams rosters make NFL roster.
My take on your post was that you seemed to be suggesting that because a gathering of fat and lazy media members rated fewer members of LSU's team to pre-season all-SEC teams than several SEC teams that that any opinion that LSU has the second or third best overall talent in the SEC is unfounded and absurd.
If I interpreted that incorrectly I apologize...but that's what I took from your post.

My interpretation is that the media members think several other teams have more talent than lsu. They aren't degrading a player because of the head coach. That is absurd. If you want to say they are ranking us poorly as a team, because of O, then ok.

Again, the post you responded to said that coaches are FACTORED in and YOU spun that into coaches are the ONLY thing factored in, not the players. Any post previous to that is completely irrelevant.
I actually agree with you that who the coach is shouldn't impact pre-season all conference lists. Even if it did, I would think it would be more on the position coaches. If that were the case, Alexander, Lawrence and Fehoko should all be on there because there's no denying that Orgeron is an outstanding DL coach.
