You need to have a want to score 60 points on a team in a blowout. Our coaches seem fine sleeping through easy games or building a lead and sitting on it.

Yeah, but I also think Au is much more physical on offense than UO.

Maybe it was just me, but I thought the Ducks looked kind of small.

I think they are much more like WVA than AU. UO is also not a one man show, they might not be as physical as AU, but they have more guys who can make a play.

I think LSUs combo of size and speed may be too much for Orgeon.

Plus I think Newton is>>>>>better than anyone on UO, even james.

for reference

That makes about as much since as this:
LSU 29 MSU 7
Au 17 MSU 14.
That doesn't mean LSU is 2 touchdowns better than AU any more than it means OU is 5 touchdowns better than LSU.

I agree. Those types of "references" are all but meaningless.

Thomas would be average here, it's OU system that makes them great (see Masoli)

it was in response to how UO couldn't handle the "physical" SEC. i should have left the LSU game off

That's just genius. Individual player match ups have nothing to do with football. If this made any sense Vegas would have us beating Auburn in a landslide. beacause of our week 3 game! haha

LSU-MSU 29-7
AU-MSU 17-14

I'm not arguing that Oregon doesn't have a great offense but come on after going through the SEC they would have 2 loses just like most of the teams usually do. We have pretty fast defenses in the SEC if you have not heard. Clown.

UGA? hell no
Arky? hell no
UF? no

I don't think they'd be putting up 60 every week.

If I said OU 48 Tenn 13
UGA 41 Tenn 14

And tried to argue UGA is obviously a fairly comparable team to OU, I'd look pretty ridiculous, no?

LSU blowouts are always in the 40's, you never see them completely destroy a team like other schools!

Oregon seems like they always collapse at the end of the year. They're the opposite of VT.

Oregon's lowest offensive output in terms of points this season is 42. You can talk about how they don't play SEC defenses all you want, but what did LSU do against teams such as Vandy and McNeese? Very unimpressive outputs. The 32 points we put up against McNeese should have been our output from the first half alone. It shouldn't have taken us the entire game to do so.

that's what I'm talkin about when I say LSU blowouts are in the 40's or so because of the coaching, they have all these talented, skilled players they use wrong, and keep makin dumb mistake after dumb mistake to keep teams in the game. They should have run away from Florida, but let them back in it, any other SEC team would have put it's foot on Florida's neck and crushed it.

and the McNeese score should have been at least 62-14 or something like that!

If Auburn throws it to us 5 times, I'm pretty sure we'll beat them by a couple of scores too.

Pretty absurd for anyone to defend that LSU-Tenn game from an "individual player match ups" perspective. If Oregon matches up that better with Tenn than we do, then Oregon has a lot better players than we do (which they don't).

Doubtful.
If Auburn or LSU keep winning, OU is shite out of luck.

Theyd easily drop to 4 in the human polls if LSU/AU goes unbeaten
Theyd also be crushed in the computers.

It's called running the ball and killing the clock. Plenty of teams do it.

You don't get more than one W no matter how many points you score. What you do get is hacks thinking it actually means something.

the hacks you refer to are on the offensive coaching side of the ball because you don't keep calling dumb arse plays like they do that causes TO's or other things to keep inferior teams in games.

but you'll probably pull something else out your arse, you always do when it comes to defending Crowton or Les!
