Miles had made some coaching errors in his time at LSU, but I personally don't think that mean that he can't get LSU back to winning championships. If things do not improve, he will get fired, regardless of what I think about him. In the meantime, however, I will root for him to be successful at LSU. I watch the game not the coach.

I have little faith in Miles but will be hoping for the best this season. You never know maybe he can get lucky again.

Look I may not agree with CHOCTAW much at all, BUT refrain from the childish name calling. COOL???

That is a much better sig picture. I wish we could get back to those days but sadly enough it looks as if we are content with mediocrity. We need a coach that brings Saban's type of fire.

There are fools a plenty who after a so so year yearn for another coach. The first thing that happens is a full year of a poor recruiting year, as many will jump ship when the uncertainty of a new coach is delivered to them. All coaches have a year or more of unlucky seasons. Coach Miles is constantly upgrading his assistants so give him a chance. I have been in the hell of dark years going from one coach to another. I do not want to revisit those times unnecessarily.

We had him: Bo Pelini. Bertman should have encouraged Miles to go to Michigan and named Pelini HC. Personally I blame Kirk Herbstreit for everything

It goes deeper than that all the way to General Richard.

What makes you say that about Ron?

He doesn't have the balls to generate the revenue and get rid of Miles. ALso on that same note I am fairly certain Bertman and him conspired to keep Miles in '08 when Saban was wanting to come back. The reason why? Well because Bertman and Richard wanted a yes man and not a championship caliber coach.
