The choices in your question. Still want Miles? Shouldn't you be asking if one would rather lose games?

For most Nega-Tigers I think it is that they don't think LM will get us back to where we want the program to be, NOT that we want our team to loose. Big difference.

Seriously, man, you should publish the ForeLSU FIOTY Classic watch list. Maybe we could get it stickied...

I agree it's not that people don't think Les can win alot of games. We should continue to win 8-9 games a year with Les. I don't think Les will win another SEC title. In spite of that I think Les will be here a while and have some success. I hope I am wrong but I think Les has peaked already in terms of winning championships. I will go down rooting for LSU no matter what.

It's like leaving your starting pitcher in after giving up 9 home runs in 5 innings. How many mulligans does this guy get? We have a storied football program at stake - losing respect everyday he's here.

Got to break some eggs to make an omelet...

The reason you think that is because, like most people who don't think things through very well, you can't tell the difference between hope and expectation

Yeah or,like I've stated in my post, I've heard people say things like this and are calling these people out on it

quote:

People like you think that if someone predicts that they will die someday, they WANT to die

people like you can't distinguish what you want to read from what is laid out right before your very eyes

quote:

The lack of maturity and intellectual capacity needed to acknowledge and deal with the fact that things do not always happen the way we want them to leads you to draw ridiculous conclusions like the one stated in your post.

Why don't you go grab a dictionary and figure out what you're trying to say. What I was referring to is not a difficult concept to understand ... Quoting what some people said does not make it a "ridiculous conclusion" or an accusation. And while you're on the subject of intellect, go grab a dictionary and look the word "hypocrisy" because what you're claiming I am doing is in fact exactly the type of behavior you are performing. By taking what is clearly stated, and blasting the writer due to your lack of comprehension skills

quote:

To put this on a 3rd grade level so you might have some hope of understanding it....no, I don't want LSU to have a bad season just so Miles will get fired. I think LSU will have bad seasons and that he will get fired. I want him to be fired so that we won't have bad seasons.

I'll try and keep it on your level for you. IF YOU DO NOT RELATE TO THE TOPIC AT HAND, THEN OBVIOUSLY THE TOPIC DOES NOT PERTAIN TO YOU. do you understand that? If not then let me make it even more simple for you. I never said people who wanted him gone want lsu to lose. I was merely asking how many of you were as dumb as the people I'm referring to those who put their feelings ahead of what's best for the program. Go frick yourself fa ggot

Here's my two cents on the topic. I feel that with the recruiting classes we have put together over the past three seasons there is enough talent on this team to be very successful (SEC West and Conf champs). If the most talented players don't see the field and Miles & Co. continue to underdevelop and underperform as these guys mature, I think the writing is on the wall. I understand Miles' theory about playing more experienced players, but I see tons of young talent across the country giving major contributions to their teams immediately. Our young guys should be doing the same.

As far as Crowton being the OC and putting up the numbers we did as a unit, was disgusting. I konw the OL had its issues, and JJ was young and this and that....I call BS. You make your mistakes and learn from them and quit trying to sugar coat that we are young and inexperienced. You play to win each game and sometimes last year I thought we played to keep it close.

We all agree RS should have seen the field more. Could you give some examples of freshmen that should have got more playing time over the players that were ahead of them? TIA

If it meant getting a coach like Jim Harbaugh, I would take 6-6

Unforgivable, I'd say. Especially when we were in striking distance of Florida - on our home turf.

I root for us to win every game and root against 8-9 win purgatory also (3 years in a row. once or twice may be ok depending on circumstances, but 3 is never ok)

If Saban were here and we were stuck in 8-9 win purgatory, I'd want to try someone else.

If Sean Payton were our coach and we got stuck in 8-9 win purgatory, I'd want to change horses.

LSU is better than 8-9 win purgatory,

You know that.

Alleva knows that.

This is not Ole Miss or Texas Tech. - 8-9 wins at those schools is very good.

Not good enough at LSU

Period.

i wouldn't say unforgivable.....unless you've wanted Miles gone since 2005 or something insanely stupid like that.

...and thanks for avoiding the actual question in my post.

No way. Last year we had FL in our sights with a little keg of dynamite (RS) on the bench. How can you make sense of that?
