I'm not going but it's a beautiful day to go to Alex Box. This event replaces the previous annual First Pitch Banquet.

Do the players actually sign 1000 posters?

Not for $30 I’m not. I can see almost all of this at a game for $10

If I had kids, I would. It’s just weird if an adult goes solo.

Why are they charging for this? I have never heard of anyone charging for a fan day. Is this new or are other programs doing the same? I don't even think football charges for fan day.

I’m here.

Not a ton to gather from the scrimmage other than the fact that Dugas looks really good.

Gotten on base twice and made some nice plays from the field.

Saul Garza GS in the first.

What is your estimate for how many fans showed up?

Based on the limited number of replies in this thread the event isn't a huge success.

I don't know what the reason for selling tickets is other than to raise money for the baseball program.

But, I guess they also didn't want the food and drinks to be free for everyone who walks into Alex Box.

The event will provide fans with exclusive access to the baseball facilities and will include food, drinks, and the opportunity to meet the 2019 LSU Tigers, along with former players and coaches.

Just got back.

It was great. Tour of all parts of the park. A few seconds to talk to the players while they signed my young son’s baseball.

Pitching looked good.

Crowd was better than expected. Everyone sat in the main section behind home. They had the sections down the foul lines blocked off.

Food was good. Lots of concessions for free.

CPM was going to address the crowd at 5pm. Can’t image anyone staying to hear that, but the rest was great.

I think that included food and drinks, maybe beer?
I have no issue with the baseball team trying to generate revenue. They don’t work with a football budget and they need to keep up with the other SEC programs.
