If the SEC wins it again this year you will see some movement towards some sort of playoffs. the Pac 10 Big 12 and Big 10 etc. will be calling foul...... :wah:

If Oklahoma wins, we will never hear the end of the bragging about how the Big 12 is better than the SEC. (Despite Ole Miss' victory).

Stoops is the worst cry baby in the world. I would rather listen the Pete Carrol and Mack Brown whine any day over SToops.

Fla. is in the SEC. (With the exception of BAMA...) I always pull for the SEC. In a couple of years I will go back to pulling for Bama again in bowl games.

I don't get into all that "S-E-C" chanting crap. Why would we want the teams we recruit head to head with the most getting their second national title in 3 years?

I disagree. Check out all of the TX kids on our roster. We are in as big of a fight with the Big 12 as we are with the rest of the SEC

I cannot pull for ANY team in ANY sport that LSU recruits against.

I couldn't care less how much "respect" the SEC gets.

If we don't have it now, we will never have it.

But, if and when we do get it, how will it DIRECTLY affect LSU?

Will respect for the SEC get LSU any more recruits?
Will respect for the SEC end the love fest for Notre Dame and USC?

I say no and am therefore pullin not for Oklahoma (Stoops is a prick) but against the team that has more to gain over anf from LSU with a win.

If we truly feel that winning the National Championships in 2004 and 2008 helped our program, how can we not believe that the same success would not benefit Florida as much?

GO SOONERS - BEAT LSU's RIVAL

How many LSU players are from Texas and how many are from Florida?

If there are more from Texas, then we seem to be winning the battle with Oklahoma for those recruits.

We, therefore, need to do better in the battle for florida players which will be hurt with a Florida National Championship.

Back to back to back to back (LSU in 2009). How could anyone pull for OU. They have such a history of running up the score on helpless teams, and that goes way back to when they were in the Big 2 + 6.

I hate both these teams, but living in OKC has solidified this decision. Gators in a landslide.

If any of you had any idea what it's like to be around sooners you'd pick UF.

First of all I've been here 3.5 yrs and NOT ONE SOLITARY sooner fan has EVER said anything good about LSU. I've had more than 20 (not kidding) tell me that they HATE LSU more than any other team. Plus they're always talking shite on Miles, etc. They all think their shite doesn't stink.

They are ABSOLUTELY the WORST and most obnoxious fan base I've ever been in contact with. I mean all the SEC teams can be said to be that way, but with my experience the Sooner fans take the cake. Whiny, bitches.

They always talk shite whenever LSU looses a game even though I've never provoked any reason for them to.

Now I just talk endless shite on them and love it. Thank God we beat them, so I can always call scoreboard. They all talk shite on Tebow as if they think they're pussy arse D can stop him. Stoops is a dick.

I'd only pull for them over USC.
I can't wait to tell them too bad Stoops can't win the big game once again!!!

I agree with Jersey. OU fans are the whiniest crybabies I've ever dealt with. This is coming from a guy surrounded by USC fans.

Geaux Gators...chomp that arse.

I think it would be great if they won this year and then we came right back next year and won it AGAIN. It would be basically the same stories for both teams as far as having a "down" year then coming back the next year and winning the championship. It would also turn in to be a HUGE rivalry if that were to happen again. The game would have determined a national champion for 4 years in a row.

Three years ago I would have swallowed hard and pulled for the gay tors. But during our final four run in 2006, during the halftime of the LSU-faggie game, CBS switched to live coverage of the gay-tor game on the east coast. The LSU score was announced, and the gaytor fans began loudly cheering for the faggies. So, I'll NEVER pull for them again.

Geaux oklahomo.

Stoops is an arrogant little jerk, but what's worse than that is CUM's lyin and double dealing to LSU recruits (see T. Tolliver).

As I said

Geaux oklahomo.

We thank all of you for your support. Trust me, we were pulling HARD for you guys last year, and in general, we feel the same way about the SEC. We root for our SEC brethren whenever it doesn't negatively affect us.

I think the rivalry between LSU and UF is one similar to FSU/Miami: One of respect. I really have nothing bad to say about LSU fans. In general, I've found them to be a nice party-hungry bunch of folks.

I came on here and told you prior to the Peach Bowl that you were going to destroy GA.Tech, and look what happened.

I hope we can do the same to OU.

Again, thanks for the kind words of support.

However, that being said, we want to repeat if we win it all this year, so I think the LSU/UF game will decide one half of the BCS. And I can certainly tell you I won't be rooting for you that day.
