How many more regular ground balls will go under Braswells glove before he is benched .

Absolutely.
Milam at SS, Pearson or Nippolt at 2B. Do the little switch thing so Milam is always most likely to get the ball.

I have been saying that. If they want Braswell’s bat to stay in the lineup then maybe he should swap positions with Milam.

I’m sure the thinking is that Milam is a true freshman and playing SS here is like being an SEC QB, but this kid is special.

I get the frustration with Kling but up to this point he has basically accrued a season worth of at bats in the SEC when you combine last year. The promising part is that he is starting to make really good contact. I don’t know much about the draft and how that works but it’s hard to imagine he is still projected to go as high as he was before the year started so I wouldn’t think it’s out of the question for him to come back for one more year. These at bats and experience will come in handy if he comes back.

Braswell is probably not going to be benched. A concern does his error prone arse, have another year? He is not going to be drafted. He would be right back at SS next season. Someone did not do a good job in evaluating his talent or the lack of.

Why would anyone want Kling to sit on the bench at this point????
The ONLY thing LSU is playing for is developing for next year. Kling needs to get as many at bats as possible this year, so he can be better next year.

With two outs Braswell let a ball that bounced off pitchers mound go under his glove causing a two run inning.

His hitting is frustrating but he covers a ton of ground in the outfield and when he does get on he’s our best speed on the bases
