LSU has had a very good year. It's just that the fans and the team want to beat Bama - it's just the way it is.

This right here. I still say we finish 10-1 and make a New Year's Six bowl at worst. Bama just had our number. I do not see Arky beating us next week at home, Ole Miss is reeling, and TAMU is TAMU. If LSU doesn't get down in the dumps, this can still be a great season, just maybe not the miracle season we thought it would be.

The thing that sucks is that we can survive an sec loss to just about any other sec team in a given year, if we could just beat Bama. Bama, in spite of the ole miss loss, controls their destiny by beating LSU. It's how it always is with the existing sec landscape. Fact is, the sec west runs though Tuscaloosa, and an sec west championship almost always means an sec title. That's why the Bama game is so important. It's the one hurdle les just can't handle.

What's worse is that the team knows this, and seems to get demoralized after losing to Bama every year, costing us games we should win. No other way we slide like we have recently post Bama loss. It just changes everything.

This team can still make a run, but they'll have to move on from this loss in a big way and hope for a do-over. Or maybe Bama drops another one to a coach who Saban doesn't completely own, but it sure doesn't look likely this year.

Truly i'm just sick of the annual embarrassing loss to Bama. We just always find a way to lose, and the one common denominator is les miles.

Not me. I had 9-3 or 10-2 with a 30% to 40% chance of upsetting Bama.

Well, I thought we'd be 11-1 or 10-2 this season. I felt like the team grew up a lot last year on the fly, and really expected a breakout season.

Of course, I didn't melt out loud, although I did briefly envision some Bama players have bad things happen to them
And in the second half, after a few handfuls of Equate® antacid tablets, it was all good

Maybe it's because I follow the team and recruiting year round, but I go into every year thinking I could see us going undefeated with our talent. Not saying that we're being coached out of championships, but we're great in an era where the other great teams play us every year in conference. Would love a situation like USCw it Miami had in the early 2000s...

Well this team is not even close quite frankly, so what's your point? We may very well lose two more - Arky, elderly miss.

No biggie, right? It's all according to plan in your dumbass little brain. God you suck.

ETA: Read Lou Pai's post. Then read it again.

How many lsu fans predicted one loss at this point in the season... No matter how your preface it LSU has already over achieved most expectations to this point and I still anticipate LSU winning out...

Most reasonable people thought lsu was a year ahead of schedule. It's obvious we are.

I did not. I predicted 9-3 before the season and I'm sticking to it. Avg QB, avg DL with no depth, special teams are bad, and DBs need experience.

Bama exposed all this.
