I chuckled at this a bit but in all seriousness, not happening. Time for the rake bats to come out. JJ lulled the regional to sleep with the 2 SEC tourney games. Made them think a low ERA guy with junkball stuff is enough to blank LSU. He doing 4D chess here.

LSU will be up 4-0 by the 3rd inning.

So we going extra innings to get those 30 outs, and we’r doing it without one ground ball out.

For a taste of reality, here are the numbers of hits from our last three home SEC series:
Alabama 11, 12, 7
Tennessee 6, 4, 13
Arkansas 9, 11, 10
The first 2 UT games (until the very end of Game 1) were about as poorly as we have hit at home, but that was also against 2 elite arms. But the raw numbers say getting hits hasn’t been a problem against most pitching at home. The issue has been inconsistency and the timeliness of the hits. When we do what we need to to get runners in scoring position home, we win handily. When we don’t, we have to win close or occasionally lose.

DBU is legit team
DBU needs to worry about beating Rhode Island first.
Rhody's ace LHP threw 10 (yes 10) shutout innings in a 1-0 loss to Oregon in February.
They also have a senior laden lineup who hits for average, power, can steal bags and averages 9 runs a game

About as many as South Carolina has this weekend in the tournament.

This will be enough for people to claim we hit the ball well, because that’s baseball.
LSU is really bad at baseball per some clowns, right?
