I'm over the character attacks on Stingley. On Saturday, people on the score board were saying Stingley was running from covering Smith. When actuality, he had to beg the coaches to let him cover. He could have easily sat out after his ankle injury but he came back in and battled.

He will quit next year like his other teammates. Then have to sit there and listen to his father justify it. The days of playing 3 years is over.

Smith is the best offensive player in the country.

Smith against anyone is advantage Smith.

You will knock Stingley for that? JaMarr Chase made AJ Terrell his bitch yet Terrell still goes #16 in the draft. Stingley is twice the player Terrell is. He isn't dropping out of the top 5-8.

Get out of here with your logic. Chase absolutely abused Terrell, as well as CJ Henderson, as well as Trevon Diggs. That's two 1st round and a 2nd round CB. Stingley is going first round no matter what

I don't this so. I just think it's realistic now.

People need to realize if we start the season off losing and have no chance to make SEC then players like stingley will opt out midseason.

Hell if O can't turn things around and the spring and summer look bleak he might opt before season.

I don't blame them. Players won't to compete for national championships or NY6 bowls not anything else. That should be our standard as a football program.

Y'all may be right

I just don't think using this fricked up year as evidence that this will be the new trend is smart

Since he gets injured or sick every other game, I’d say about 4-6.

Well, many on here said he would be opting out in the back half of this season. Hasn't happened. Was hurt while LSU was getting hammered on Saturday, yet he didn't even opt out of the 2nd half and got back on and played until the end. Seems based on the evidence that he will play. I don't think he wants this pathetic year of an empty Tiger Stadium with an undermanned team to be his last experience in college.

In a sense it did. He hasn’t played close to how he played last year. I know he had had some injuries this year but I have seen look lost and confused on many plays this year.

Which is even worse because you have former LSU players saying he was running away from the competion and more worried about his draft stock.

This is a retarded take. The Head Coach of the football team said that no one thought about putting Stingley on Smith until halftime. This is a scheme issue. Blaming Stingley for fricking assbackwards coaching is unreal
