I love my tigers to death, but how bad will Les sink the tigers this year? Are we talking sinking a small boat in a 5 foot pond kind of year, or the sinking of the Titanic kind of year?

Great 8th post. You should sink a gun into your ear and pull the trigger. And change your user name to tigerfanonlywhentheywin. You suck

Its an important year for Les, we have the potential to lose only 1, but we could conceivably lose up to 5

Geez bro. Sounds like you had a similar experience when you were new on TD, or is 250 posts too far ago to remember?

Between 1-2 with a chance at a BCS birth if UF has an off year.

I think that Les has a great year in 2010. he has some good coaches in place that will offer sound advice.

I think that we will beat Bama and Florida this year.

I look forward to seeing us in the SEC Championship game.

If fact, the only game that I am worried about is the first one.

That's the one you should be least worried about of the legit teams on LSU's schedule. Les has shown what he can do with tons of time to prepare. How you can think LSU beats Bama when Bama returns everyone while fearing UNC is baffling. It will all depend on if we see Pussy Less or Lesticles. The past 2 years Miles has been a PUSSY. He has lost his killer instinct and has played it much more conservatively. If he returns to his aggressive ways, LSU will lose a max of 2 games. If he's still a bitch, 5 losses is not out of the question at all.

Easy,

North Carolina has a stout defense that will give us some trouble, plus it is a tough first game to get the bugs worked out.

As far as Bama,

We could have won that game in 2009. Bama's QB is not someone to fear in 2010, he may have a great won/loss record so far, but his skill set does not impress me.

In 2009, I got mad at Les's play calling as much as anyone, but he is the coach of my Tigers and I am ready to support him in 2010 and let the body of work in 2010 speak for itself.

I think that 2010 will be the year of RS and Ford coming out and I expect great things from them.

I have to believe that the future of LSU Football is bright.

Wow...talk about glass half empty. Are these the only choices?

Just say they will win every game. If you predict a 4 loss season and the board melts down following Ole Miss III this year, some Miles Apologist will ask why everyone's in panic mode and how the meltdown doesn't make sense because everybody predicted LSU would have 3 to 4 losses anyway.

And though we're not the battleship we once were when Miles took over, we're not yet a small boat. And the SEC is not a pond and never will be. It's the biggest stage in college football.

This is the sentiment that I will never understand. Why everyone thinks that Miles is, or has ever been, anything but the dummy he is is baffling. He's never had a killer instinct. He's never had a fiery edge...just a lot of shouting, macho remarks, and hubris. Les Miles' mouth writes checks his coaching abilities can't cash. Go to youtube and type in "Let 'er Rip." Watch the video. Then type in "Les Miles Fight and Resolve." Same game. What happened to all that swagga pre-game? The same thing that happened in Oxford this year.

He consistently puts his team into a position where he's had to take chances (UF 2007, AU 2007...and who the hell knows if that was an intentional chance, or just more more shitty clock management form the "Lesticles"), and fortunately he inherited the team leadership and the talent of individuals who made the plays to carry us to an NC (oh, and BTW, thanks a million Pitt. Or in Less Miles case, thanks $3.75 million, Pitt.).

I agree, I am not a huge Les Miles fan, but I do hope he is successful and runs the table in 2010 ( tough schedule , fear the hat).
I would rather loose a successful Miles to Michigan than see my beloved Tigers fall from grace, so I have to fully support the Mad Hatter and hope for the best.

So basically you're saying that the coaching staff didnt even need to show up those first 3 years and LSU would have still won a NC?

You don't compile the head coaching record he has without knowing how to coach.
