My wife and I take a long (21-28 days) driving trip every fall. We are driving to Vegas and staying only 2 nights. Been there several times before and neither of us likes the place much now. Going to a new stadium and seeing the game is all we want to do. On to the Redwoods/Cali Coast/Lake Tahoe/Lassen Volcano NP and home on Sept 20.

Like most, Thursday to Tuesday.
Except, flying into Phoenix, driving up to Flagstaff for the night, then on to South Rim and Hoover Dam before ending up in Vegas on Friday. In MGM Signature VRBO for $125 a night. Seeing "O" on Friday night. LSU and football focus on weekend. Will find something to do on Monday.

I’ll fly in a week in advance and then after the game I’ll probably just stay there the rest of my life.
