Some of you never get tired of this shite, do you?
Yet, you get lost on a daily basis on your Waitr runs.

D.J Welter. Clark has bad instincts for the position but D.J Welter had no business being out there let alone starting.

You’re right, coach O. I don’t know what I was thinking. I mean, he’s our leading tackler. It doesn’t matter if those tackles are all 30 yards down field

Picking on Damone Clark is this seasons failed LSU fan IQ test.

Damone is playing in the NFL, and you idiots are going to retreat to this position: He finally got some good coaching.

As what, a free safety. Even they occasionally make tackles inside 10 yards. On a serious note, he was recruited to be a 3-4 OLB. He’d be better served playing on the edge

If we hadn’t lost Aranda, we’d be talking about whether he would be going in the first or second round. All the attributes to be a good linebacker, hasn’t progressed and that’s on coaching. I’ve said from when he left, Aranda the LB coach was a bigger loss than Aranda the DC

I agree. Aranda is a stud linebacker coach. Probably the best in the game

Since when is telling the truth bashing? He didn’t play well in any game. He found a way to not make simple tackles, even when our DL was completely mauling the OL and keeping blockers off of him

Miss St Gets at least 2 plays today over 30 yards with clark in the middle.

He’s done his job the past two games.

I legit feel like half the posters on TD are robots using two week old info to generate auto-posts.

He wasn’t terrible yesterday as an MLB playing that much in coverage. The only true bust was the wheel route, and that wasn’t Clark. He and the Safety were both late on the TD pass that hit the seam in the zone in the 4th quarter. He wasn’t amazing by any stretch, but he has been ok the last two weeks.

There is blame to go around on this defense. There are other LBs and Safeties who make as many coverage mistakes as he does. Baskerville gets beat as often as he busts. Strong has had a couple. Burns has had a few bad ones. Harris and Toles were worse than Clark vs UCLA.

It isn’t just one guy. Clark’s biggest issue is run gap support and this game wasn’t a measuring stick for that. He had one missed lane vs CMU and played very well the rest of the contest. This week will be a real test of whether he’s made any improvement.
