Ford did get a few carries in mop up duty against Vandy. And I honestly don't remember the staff going out of their way o pump up Ford unless some fan or reporter was asking specifically about him (like in the press conference last week).

And Flynn was a better QB because he is still in the league than JR was when he was at LSU?

Ford never had to do much blocking in high school, so that may be a weakness.

He has pretty good hands - have seen him catch all sorts of balls.

I have no idea how he got passed up to the extent that he cannot even smell the field.

He is a favorite of mine so I am personally interested.

If he really is out of his league here - I wish he would transfer somewhere that needs a running back. I would like to see the kid play - he is all heart and a great kid.
