Less mobile than Brennan? That is NOT good! Hopefully he can make things happen On 3rd down and in the red zone. Let it happen! We need a “W”

He is not a ballerina but he moves well. His highlights show him rolling out on plays and believe it or not he seems to have touch. What I got from his highlights below is that he can get rid of it pretty quickly.

Add a few months of Moffit to that and I think he'll be fine.

I'm picturing a Jamarcus Russel like game. Huge guy, huge arm but a freshman of course.

Watched TJ in high school many times, physically he’s very similar to Jamarcus Russell, mobility wise the same. For his size he can move pretty well, I would say much better than Mettenberger.
I think the he will be better than Jamarcus mentally, his parents are very good, successful people (I heard his mom is a physician). Not sure what he will do tomorrow as a true freshman starting against a Mushchamp defense but he could be great long term

That’s not what I saw on his high school highlights. I saw a guy who went down on first contact. It was not a big sample size, though.

Him getting tackled was in his high school highlights?

Let’s put it this way. Max johnson is = or faster than slightly burrow. Finley was compared to Myles Brennan.

the offense is suffering from lack of a run threat at QB. Johnson brings that to the table, Finley most definitely doesn't

Finley knows the playbook and can make the reads and has a better arm.

He isn't going to run RPOs effectively and isn't going to beat anyone in a foot race,

You realize QBs don’t run in a RPO

People already the different between the two ,QBs they are just kinda of wondering why he picked TJ and not a QB like burrow instead , so people want to know why Coach O made his pick

Orgeron explained it in detail in his Press conference. For those too lazy or mentally challenged. Coach said they were graded on their performance this week in practice. He said it was so close he could have used a coin flip. Finley made a couple more third down plays which tipped the scales in his favor.
Both will play, unless one gets hot and the game dictates that he keeps one in the game.

In other words, if Finley is playing error free and keeps moving us up and down the field, and the defense continues to struggle, if he thinks Finley will protect the lead, he is staying on the field.
