And we beat them twice. Listening to the game the announcers were saying even with LSU beating them they still are " in" on most list. What am I missing here?

Their RPI is really high. I think it was 28 going into today. I still don’t think they should be in but I think that’s why everyone has them in right now

I have wondered the same thing! They still had them listed as a #10 seed this afternoon.

RPI... Most of your tournament bids come down to playing very good teams OOC and winning, which is what Arkansas has done. Not saying they are much better than us, but that is what it comes down to.

OOC. It's pretty simply. They beat OU, lost to UNC, beat a few solid mid-majors.

LSU got HUMILIATED by Notre Dame, got killed by multiple SEC teams.

Personally, I could care less about the NCAAT. I want the NIT and hopefully win 2-3 games and get more experience building for next season

LSU HUMILIATED the pigs in Arkansas.

Personally, I do care that LSU makes the ncaaat. Screw the nit! Get on a roll and get above 500 in the SEC

Arkansas played a tougher OOC schedule and has wins over Oklahoma and Minnesota. Plus, all the metrics have Arkansas ahead of LSU.

That said, LSU is 6-6 against the KenPom top 50. That means LSU still has an opportunity to make some noise. A win at Florida would be enormous

Perspective.

Arky has been more impressive than LSU - even after getting swept by LSU. Oklahoma’s football team lost to Iowa State. Since Iowa State didn’t make the playoffs should that have ruled out OU making them?

If we followed your line of thinking the 64 team bracket would have no teams in it.

identical conference records and we beat them twice head to head and they have the inside track ..... That's my line of thinking

A&M has a bunch of losses to teams in the top 50, while we have a lot of wins over teams 200 and below. Our administration still has no clue that scheduling a bunch of games against teams from the swac, meac, southland, etc kills your strength of schedule.

Pretty sure LSU is like 7-4 against top 50 RPI teams

Off the top of my head 2 arky 2 atm 1 Michigan 1 Memphis

I am not ruling us out yet. With the games remaining as well as the SEC Tournament, we could go on a run. We should at least be in the conversation with some of the other teams being mentioned. Arkansas and aTm. Granted our RPI is not as high, but we should get credit for sweeping them both. Let's let it play out.

We played 7 games against bottom 200 teams. Texas A&M played 4. Makes a huge difference in strength of schedule.

Memphis is NOT Top 50, or even Top 100.

It still doesn’t negate the point that T was trying to make...we have wins against good teams. Our RPI is low because of our weak ooc. Not because of who we have beaten.
