I see all the hopeful talk of Canada and Aranda developing a special game plan for Alabama. So, my question is, how is Alabama gameplanning us? How will they counteract our strengths? Where will they go after us?

I just texted Saban, I'll let you know what he says
Actually answering your question, they can go at us wherever they want, because they are better. Our guys need to just be ready for it and play their asses off, and maybe the pieces will fall in place for an upset.

I like the idea that Alabama may actually be more predictable than LSU!

But if he tells you he’s going to do one thing, how do you know he won’t do the other. Just sayin’, man.

Canada and Orgeron will come out the gate running Guice like everybody on Earth knows they're going to. The Bama front will stop him. Then O will be thinking "How the hell did they know this was our gameplan?!"

Defensively, probably straight up and just worry about assignments. They have the personnel to win pretty much every 1v1 so no need to get elaborate.

Our weakness on defense is stopping the run which happens to be their strength, so offensively just run it down our throats. Again, they can win most of their assignments.

The same way they do every year, shut down the run and then laugh at us trying to pass the ball.

Saban doesn’t need to scheme other than wearing us down in the third and fourth quarter due to lack of quality substitutes

We hide our strengths very well.

Alabama offense: run, run, run, like your Les Miles.

Alabama defense: cover 1, man on the outside, everyone else in the box playing zone protecting the edge.

They are just as fast, stronger, and deeper. Gonna be tough to win this one and will require Etling to identify the best case scenario and properly execute on every pass play.

Best chance for big plays for LSU will be backs or tight ends getting free in the middle of the field.

We used to have similar talent to Alabama, but their recruiting (particularly on the lines) has eaten ours alive in recent years. We sign 35 corners and wide receivers and half transfer out and become stars at other schools, meanwhile we’re thin on both lines.

Man, you guys are just no fun. I wouldn't pick fellow ranters to be next to me in a foxhole.

Even if all of the negatards end up being right, do you really enjoy correctly predicting a negative outcome over getting pumped up for the game and hoping that our team prevails? Remember, the upside of being the underdog as it makes your opponent's tears taste all the more sweet if we win.

I'm OK if we lose. That's the logical conclusion. But my heart bleeds purple and gold and I believe that we can upset anybody on a given day. How glorius that would be on so many levels if we did? I'm not on here to show how smart I am by predicting the outcome. I just want my team to win, and I'm here because I enjoy supporting them, even when they're double digit dogs.

Defense: Knock offensive line into backfield on every play
Offense: Run right, run left, flanker screen, bomb. Keep repeating until LSU defense wears out from being on the field constantly with only short breaks.

Bama will do what bama does best. Beat us with a fresh rotation of freak athletes. I would not be surprised if we see alot more plays to our Tight ends this game as we havent seen them get a whole lot of action this season.

We'd be wise to go from shot gun and use short passes. Spread their defense out as much as we can.
